hi there everyone i have just joined not getting married till aug 2012 but there are so many things to sort out i dont know where to start

Hi kerry and welcome to the madhouse! You'll find lots of good advice on here and support for when you are tearing your hair out! First things first.... a rough guest list so you can start looking at venues of appropriate sizes and looking at costs per head etc....... x

Hi Kerry and welcome. You will soon get to know what you need to do, get ideas etc.
Start with a rough guest list to give you an idea of how many people you want there and then you can work out roughly what size venue to look for and work out how much it will cost. Once the venue is in place start booking things that are important to you like the photographers, cars etc. Once you have the main suppliers in place it gets easier and then you can concentrate on the smaller things. The venue sets the date so that is the first thing you need to do.
Do you know if you are having a church, registry office or civil wedding?

hello and welcome!! there is so much info and ideas on here...its fab!! at the beginning of the year we hadnt done anything for the wedding and now a month later we have near enough most things booked or we know what we are booking and just need to do it.
I would say you can never start to save and plan early enough tho!!
