I've been on here for about 4 months now and have only just realised I've never actually introduced myself.
My name is Karen and me and my OH are getting married on 24th August 2013, we have been together for 5 years, engaged since August 2011.
We are getting married in my local village church and then onto the Northampton Marriott for the Reception.
Looking forward to getting to know people and getting some good ideas from you all.

Planning is going ok, I have got the church, venue, tog, flowers, my dress and my car sorted.
I know what bridesmaids dresses I'm getting but not ordering till March, Have just seen a band I love which costs £1,000 (OH thinks thats a stupid amount) but I have to have them. Haha.

im gettin married on halloween in 2014 its just been pushed back as a load of my friends (with more money thann me) decided there gettin married in october next year and im being quite selfish n dont want to share
i was looking at venues for my ceremony today fell in loe with one but waiting on a price ()hope its cheap
had a photoshoot with my photographer last weekend (he is also my DJ) and im utterly in love with him hes amazing
saw a magician today aswell who is really cheap and really good totally baffled me lol :P
ive bought so many decorations i dont have a sitting room anymore its more like a glittery halloween wonderland :P and ive made my center pieces (which is why i have glitter everywhere) and ive got a company that will install it all for me for practacly nothing!!
oh and ive ordered my dress off the bay of e (only £30 well chuffed ^.^)
still got loads to do but ive got so much time im not worried
that id a lot for a band but they must be good! maybe you can come to a compromise say youll feed them at the evening buffet n see if they might drop the price

Haha, I'd have it all done if I could, but have to have something to do next year I suppose, I'm going to make my invites so that's my next project around Xmas I think.

Hey the band im getting is 1600!! lol A lot of money but it is through an agency so i guess u pay more?? Its my only real luxury thing tho, and its coming from my own money so thats ok?? (i think?))

Hi and welcome glad u are getting into the site and ur sounds like planning going well with regards to the band if U can afford it and want it then U have it x
With regards to hearts I found they build up rather quickly (apart from 2away from 5gold and that seems to be dragging) or like others say pay to be power up and U can enter the competitions to win stuff like ur wedding, honeymoon, decorations etc but I like to watch mine build and although good price of £2.50 I Think it money towards wedding x
