Well what a day i have had today, went with my mum and sis (maid of honour) to the Scottish Wedding Show @ the SECC and i got loads done, which makes me feel a bit better, but the most exciting part of my day was getting my car booked!
I have went for the 1964 VW CAMPERVAN in black & ivory!!! i am soooooooooo excited now lol
Is anyone else having this? I think its great, plus as it seats 7 & the driver, it means i only had to get one car for me, my mum, my brother who is giving me away & my 4 bm's, so its also saving costs! :) xxx

thats brill well done, how exciting. Im not having a campervan im having a 1929 chevrolet and was going to sort other transport but a BM has paid for a limo for everyone else to travel in :) Congratulations on such a big part xx

my dad has my grandads camper van its been in the family for as long as i can remember, but is knackered now.However i mentioned to my dad i would love to get married in it well not get married in it lol but use it to take me to the church,i have soooooooooo many founds memorys of goin away in it when i was younger and it would fetch part of my grandad to the big day as he died :-(.But my dad is kind of knackered (dont tell him i said that lol) and obviousley the cost to get it all done out, so its not goin to happen :-(. i have thought about wrighting to jim ill fix it lol or this morning cause i would alsp looooooove for my dad to be able to pack up with his gf and just go when and where they wanted.
so i am goin to just go with a traditonal wedding car,and ive booked a strecthed hummer for my bm's x

Glad to see there is a few others having the VW campervan too! :) One of my bridesmaids isnt too taken on the idea, she thinks it "looks weird" but i still love it! :)
stressed to max b2b, thats gutting you cant have your grandfathers original there on your day, that would have been amazing, why dont u see if u can put it in for one of those programmes? Even if it wont be ready for ur wedding, like u mentioned it would be great to have back up and running for future summer trips etc! :)
Just feels good to know all the really main things are all sorted with deposits paid, now i have time to hopefully relax and enjoy planning all the finer details! :) xxx
