The are artificial but she is sooo good. I am pretty chuffed considering id be paying about 250 - 300 for real. Might have to get two corsages though. Are any of you getting the mother of the bride and grooms mother a corsage? I dont know what is the done thing when it comes to flowers.

This will be an all round bouquet using Cerise pink Gerberas in the centre of the bouquet, then a outside ring of mid pink gerbera. There will be some purple lisianthus around the outside also and a looped aspidistra collar. The stems will be bound with cerise pink ribbon and will be bound in 2 separate places. No diamantes will be used.

i think its cos ive gone for two rather expensive flowers. sunflowers and hydrangea.

can anyone else write down what they are getting charged for real flowers? really would love to make more comparisons. I am happy with a lot of the foam roses etc i have seen online, but if the difference is only £100 I would be tempted by real!

yeah I did, but want to see a few more quotes! I think you have been quoted a lot for your BM's, and would love to nose at a few more quotes that are for 3 BM's, 2 FG,s etc etc a bit more like my own, and maybe all different sizes. Just to get a better feel for what it all costs!

I thought the centrepiecs would be extortionate, but you have a decent price for yours. And only having 6 big tables helps!!
am wanting silver two tier cake stands, full of lilac, pink, cream and purple roses.

my qoute is £422 but thats my bouquet, 3 bm bouquets, 2 pedestals, flowers for centre-pieces, 4 pew end's. thank you bouquet, 3 corsarges, 9 button holes, the first florist i went to was asking £600 and that didnt even inc the pew ends & wanted £35 PER centrepiece

sounds good, I had real flowers and ended up paying around £300 for mine, but then I had 9 bridesmaids lol. As your having sunflowers and you say they droop easily maybe having artificial is the better option. If your happy with the price, go for it xx

wow thats good. Thank god I have 2 years to decide cause I keep changing my mind! i would love love love real, but foam can be just as nice so I would pay a little bit more for real, but not that much more.

BB your bouquet sounds similar to mine...I'm having purple lizzies with hot pink gerbera and splashes of lime green in there too with looped leaves...florist was excited when I said I wanted loads of colour in the flowers. My MOH's dress is purple so hers will be predominantly hot pink with purple and lime green and a vanda orchid for her hair.

I would make my own but i have no idea where to buy fake flowers. But i did see a thing on four weddings US today where one couple made there centrepieces. All they had was glass vases and put pink tulips and 5 white roses and some green in there and it looks so beautiful. I am going to try that. But i want to do it with fake flowers. Only because they last and i can use them again in my house or give them as a gift to mil or my mum

hmm, similar to what I need Laura but I wold do without hte candleabras and am getting my chair covers and sashes from elseshwere and the venue supplies mirrors. And I only need 6 round table centrepieces
