Been emailing a company in Paphos last few days as we want to charter a yacht between the wedding and evening meal, so we have somewhere nice for toasts, speeches cake cutting and even our first dance. Also breaks up the day, so we are not just going straight from the town hall to the restaurant. We did look at getting married on one with evening reception but the costs would likely pile up and we didnt want to go there again. Plus weve fallen for our evening restaurant as its so warm and friendly. Anyway our budget was £900 for the yacht but just mangaged to get it for £680 to include fuel, capatain and crew, champagne and canapes for up to 40 guests. Its only for 2 hours so we didnt want to spend too much but it will be a sunset cruise so should get some great pics. It also feels like we are doing something a bit special for the guests who have made the effort to join us over there. 23 people confirmed at the last count and havent sent out invites yet!!!! xxx

I think it would be great to not tell anyone until the day. Its nice for them to have a surprise or two. 23 people confirmed already? Wow it looks like you are special to a lot of people for them to make such an effort to be with you on your day. At least you know that they really want to be there and are not just going to be there for free food.
I know, I keep saying how weird it is...people are actually talking about our wedding now and seem really excited! Amazing what a bit of sun and sand can do! We would love to keep it secret till the day but Steve and I are really bad at keeping secrets so one of us would let it slip. Besides Steve being Steve and having a lil of his mum in him, wants to have it on the invites! xxx
