We received some information on a venue today & its gorgeous, but they are asking £500 for all day, there is no mention of half day hire etc, we arent getting married till 3pm, so wouldnt need the venue untill 4:30 onwards, anyway i can barter or will it be set in stone? xxx

not sure hun its best to ring you never know thy might not mention it in hope that you then decide to hire all day, our venue dont let you have it for half a day if you want to get married there you have to have a wedding breakfast and evening reception there. are you getting married there or is it just for reception? x

I would ask them, but ours would have charged the same if we had it from 12 noon ... or 4pm ( which is our wedding time) x

i think they will still charge you for the whole day, as they won't be able to hire it out to anyone else before 4.30, but its worth a try x
