Im wondering what other brides have done or intend to do to try and combat this heat were having.

Maybe a portable air conditioning unit may be needed to keep me fresh rather than melt with the heat

even thou, still cant wait for my day to happen, going to be weepie im sure of that lol

Tbh i dont know if mine has air con, in the ceremony area, but the wedding breakfast and eve reception i would think so, as they are new additions to the Ceremony venue at Bagden Hall.

Im wondering if I have to include some water activities to keep everyone cool outside, as were planning to have like a family day with bouncy castle and those big garden games like connect 4 and such

Were 2hrs away from where our venue is, and we have family 1hr also 1 and half hrs away, so tried to be central'ish, the ceremony is at 1pm, so basically going to be a all day event, with children so had to keep those pesky ones happy lol, but cant forget the older children like me and kim who are going to ensure WE get 1st bounce on the castle lol xx

I have persperation problems when its this hot, so I have to use a roll on, its not the standard roll on type and can only be bought at a chemist, I will post the name on my wall, as probably will get reprimanded if i post here xx

I get mine on prescription, but Im certain its way way less than £30, probably around £3-4 MAX xx, I really do believe in what i posted in my wall, If it stops me sweating, perspiring etc, then its worth it, and I hate spending too much money, so tight ass i get told lol xx

Tell your doc you have serious perpiration problems, take with you the details of this item, and if they do their work, they should prescribe it, my ex doc did, but then again, my new doc is useless lol xx

I have use a product that the doctors prescribe but you can buy it over the counter. It contains aluminium (bit scary sounding!) but it works. You put it on at night and wash it off in the morning. Its called Dri-clor and is available from boots. The only problem with these sort of products is that when you stop sweating in the areas you put in on, you tend to sweat more somewhere else! but is worth using if you dont want sweaty pits! my H2B uses it on his feet! lol

I have an aerosol cooling spray and a handheld fan but I sweat when nervous so am beyond help lol

Im dreading all this sweatiness!!!! I was sweating loads on my hen night and I dont think i could cope with the same level of perspiration on my wedding day too! I was going to have my fringe swept over my face as part of my hair style but now im thinking of having it clipped up! As for my make up! I dont think im going to be wearing any, i will put it on but it will melt in no time! Argh!

One thing im grateful for is that my dress is really light compared to other dresses Ive tried on! So thank goodness for that! xx

I'm already changing my lingerie (again) from a corset to a longline bra (assuming it fits alright- only just ordered it) as the corset is satin and quite heavy. I get hot just putting it on! lol.

We're going to have people supplying water all day and no doubt my mum is going to have a coolbox filled with water and (hopefully) Pepsi Max.

Assuming its going to be a hot day. I hope it's in the twenties (early twenties) with a cool breeze. None of this raining nonsense. I want some warmth and bright light.
My tanlines the following day will be hilarious though (have straps that look like little wings)- major tanning will be needed on the honeymoon, I think.
