Yeah hopefully, he doesn't want another dead end job so he's got some CSCS training at the end of Feb & has been applying for apprenticeships etc! xx

Well we went for coffee with a caterer yesterday and hes going to send me some menus tomorrow. I think hes the one though as hes been recommended to me and he is supposed to be the best priced around here, also he provides waitresses, plates, cutlery and his wife helps with making the day run smoothly. Having a hog roast with a salad buffet. So excited now, the next 18 months are going to go so slow :O xx

UPDATE- venue viewing was amazing so booked it just had to change the day to get what we wanted so now getting marrow on the 6th July went to a wedding fair on Sunday and loads of things fell into place just need to sort out my registra ( ringing them today )as the next step wahooooo!!!! Slowly but surly getting there

Thats my deposit paid so venue is officially booked! It includes, ceremony room hire, all food, welcome drinks, DJ, first night room, table stationary, table plan, table linen, master of ceremony, red carpet, cake stand and knife and a few other bits i cant remember. Next step - registrar. On our council website it says i cant book registrar untill 12 months in advance, but i've seen loads of brides saying theirs is already booked .. im going to the office on Monday to double check.

I've just had another look, if i want to pre-book registrar upto 18 months in advance its an extra £20. Money well spent for piece of mind. Tho i still have to go back at the 12 month point n fill in the paperwork and pay fee's.

Hi Girlies I havent been on here for a while i have been too busy being super organised. I don't get wed until 11th July 2014 and so far i now have venue booked registrar booked Wedding dress shoes tiara veil- something borrowed. Hoop for dress cake booked photographer booked flowers booked wedding post box ordered sweet cart ordered wedding wish tree bought invites and save the dates bought wedding favour bags and silver sixpences for favours something old, my late nanans lucky rabbits foot.
venue includes all table decor etc s now all i have to sort is rings and groom/groomsmen suits I have shocked myself how much but am so pleased because we can just concentrate on saving now!! gotta love the hubby to be for working so many hours but he just tells me , you keep planning , i'll keep paying... sounds good to me lol xx

we're getting married on July 25th next year, we.ve got my dress lil bm dresses lil bm gifts venue Inc d.j, hall, food, bar staff and bouncer) all for £755 photographer all bm tiaras my tiara veil some of the table pieces falsh eyelashes and some of my make-up (we're doing our own) mega excited now xx

Soooo.... I've only just found this thread and you have all sucessfully made me feel mega unorganised and a little bit scared haha.
We're getting married on the 5th July 2014.
All i've done so far is......
Booked the venue (ceremony and evening do in the same place, with food included) Got the centre pieces Got the isle decorations and room decorations Got the favours for female guests Decoration for the gardens (candles inside hanging hearts) Got the save the dates...
Am i seriously behind? I'm a little worried now that i should have done a lot more by now? eeekkkkk

I have to speak to a new church as my partner want's to get married where his step dad's funeral was (think it makes him feel closer to him) and have to get new lil bm dresses as my friend went to get her daughter's dress and they were out of stock and not getting any more in was gutted, but have found some nice ones on bay of e for £10 just got to put money into my bay of e account, have also found my older bm dresses (they are one size) was well chuffed they are also £10 each just got to show my older bm to make sure they'll wear them, and I also have my wedding shoes x
it's been a long hard road, but hopefully we're getting

I hope so, I'm just stressing over nothing lol my friend said to me this morning what are you actually stressing for? What's the problem?
I actually have nothing to stress over at all! The only issue I have is the MIL wants to bring her dogs. I'm totally not ok with this but she said it's the only way she can be there for the whole day to which I replied "well I don't mind if you need to go home after the meal n then come back in the evening" but H2B says he wants her there for the whole day. I'm not the happiest of bunnies but I wanna make H2B happy. Best she doesn't dress them up or I'll be toe punting them out of the grounds!

Ch4lky can't the mother in law get some 1 to look after the dogs for 1 day only. it wont kill her to leave the dogs with someone and be there to u and hubby to be.
