my wedding cake is a 4 tier cake with fifty matching cup cakes so i booked my cake.am buying my wedding dress next week i can't wait.our wedding is just a day apart hope it goes well hun.

I'm getting married on the19th July 2014! I have the venue booked which includes food, ceremony, chair covers etc.... I have sorted the photographer, cake and post box haha, thought I was doing well till I saw what you guys have done! Gonna have everything sorted this year, couple of things each month x

wooooooooo hun u done a lot well done not even me got that far i think.the good thing about our reception venue is that we can have it for the hole day for £250 and the will decorated the hole reception venue which include the chairs and table covers Sashes and the centre pieces and any other decoration we like for a extra £250

I'm gona make our invites, went to HC too & got an embossing machine & stencils but now I've changed my mind on the invites so will have a peek round some craft shops!

July 2014 Bride - you've got a great bargain there for all the venue to be decorated too. I have to hope there's no function on the Friday before our wedding so we Can go in and decorate it ourselves.

I'm making invites but keeping the design very simple, no embellishments or anything, and using fancy fonts on a computer where possible.

Siany - what's your colour theme? J2014B is having red, SarahW515 is blue and orange, mine is shades of silver and ivory & butterflies

currently looking at photographers and invites.

I was quoted between- 140-200quid for invites but looked in HC and they will prob cost about same if i do my own...but have seen on the bay 50 invites for £30 and they look lovely and personalised. Not bad i reckon!

I was so impressed with my wedding dress, tried one on and it was £1449 ( a bit more than i wanted to pay ) she said i could have had the sample and had it cleaned ( But it was really grubby) then she said they had just had a brand new sample of it i could try, it was too big but she would discount the price of alterantions, so taa daaaa,, i got my dress( brand new , altho it was delivered to store to be a sample) for £850 and £100 for alterations. Not bad a a saving of £500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We haven't really got a colour theme Amy, our theme is the mad hatters, so everything is going to be different, bright colours :) there's pics in my albums of things we're going to do :)

Dont know why we picked the 26th, just this first date we thought of and everything was available. Im glad coz now we can just spend the next 18 months paying everything off :) xx

I'm the same! We've got all the big things booked & I just wana do more stuff but there's no point at the mo! Roll on next year lol xx

Aww, 3rd time lucky then! My h2b was made redundant in October, horrible isn't it! He's still looking for work & we gave up our home to move in with my mum to help save for the wedding.
