Wedding Forum - JULY 2012 brides...

We are 7th July. Have booked the church, venue and dj that's it!! Think we have found a photographer but not booked yet. Our colours are probably white and silver with a bit of navy blue for bridesmaid dresses and cravats, just little bits as h2b doesn't really want it. It probably is a bit of a dark colour for a summer wedding but I want it lol!!

Have you picked your dress yet Kye? I think Purple, silver and ivory would probably all go better than the others but that's just me!

Yep - having the same problem with the blue hun...I've tried on 2 dresses but that was in Feb and wasn't planned, loved one but not felt overwhelmed by it. Going to try more on in the summer, can't wait.

We are 21st July. We have our venue booked, invites half made. Venue is taking care of most things. I know which photographer we will book but havent yet. Our colours are dark green and white

mines 28th july and colour scheme royal blue and silver but alsorts of blue colours eg butterflys for my centre pieces and candles in the goldfish bowls

Yeyyy I have a wedding date buddy! Yeah Nini I did know about the Olympics but only recently...had to send out my Save the dates last week in case people applied for tickets for the games lol.

Were getting married on 14th July!! Ive booked the church, venue, photographer, dj, cake, flowers made all favour boxes, finished off my invites this eve, started on the orders of service covers, all in all i think im doing quite well, oh and i received my save the dates yesterday, they are gorgeous!! i would recommend Vistaprint to all of you guys, i put a pic of myself and h2b onto a save the date magnet it was so cheap and they are lush!! :) Og, my colours are black and white with a hint of red :) xxxx

all my bouquets except mine
have 4 out of the 6 bm dresses
have my tiara
have older bm tiaras and younger bms headbands
have my garter

i was worried people may bog off on holiday in july, so thought id get in their quick lol.
ive chosen my dress, just need to put deposit down on it and as mum is paying. im waiting for her say so x

I think i'll be sending my save the dates out this July. Went to try dresses on for the first time on Tuesday and the lady in the shop seemed shocked I was looking so early! It wasn't the experience I hoped for...hope it gets better. I'm not a dress person, so I was hoping that going dress shopping may get me more excited. I think I was more excited about getting my invites through - now I can start making them!

Everyone seems so organised - I had to slow myself down or I would get too excited, but now I know you are all just as excited....back to the planning I go! xx

just remembered I've also got the save the date fridge magnets to send out in July along with the hotel details for booking rooms. What time you getting married? I'm getting married at 1pm x

We were advised 1pm by the co-ordinator, then room change whilst we do photographs etc. Wedding breakfast at 3.30, just making sure everyone has lunch or a late breakfast before the ceremony!! Evening reception starting at 7.30 pm x

We are having our wedding at 1pm in church also. Our planner from reception venue advised us to wind photos etc up for 3.45 to have time with guests and start the meal on time ,and then we will have time with guests after meal and to freshen up before the evening guests arrive.

im not getting married until 3.30, im not having a sit down meal, i dont have to worry about rushing or getting up at 5am ( i take ages to get ready lol) and if its swelteringly hot, it will be cooler by then x

Getting married the 6th of july was a bit worried picking this date as its a friday but its so much cheaper venue wise! Well booked our venue and paid for 50 people to eat lol i have proberly another 20 to feed still! Booked our cars and chocolate fountain! Brought my Mohs dress and it should arrive in october :0) one flower girl dress also
Brought my wedding dress, borrowing my nans tiara its been worn by all my auntys on their wedding day!
Got all my decorations, fish bowls for centrepeices ect,Birdcages, camera for guest book,lanterns,candles,bubbles!
Looking at wedding rings now and have chosen some lovely invites,but not doing anything more until the cars,choco fountain and honeymoon is all paid for! Paid half off on honeymoon! Have a photograper in mind also!

Sometimes we both stress and then other times we still look at each other and say got a year to go thats ages lol eek!!

Well date has been changed and moved a week forward.. Church has been booked and deposit paid.. Venue has been booked just waiting on the contract and to pay deposit!! Picked our florists just need to arrange to talk and pay deposit and waiting for FIL to talk to his mate whos a pro photographer :)!! xx

We are 21st as well magicfairies. Sounds like we have a few more bits to do than you though

Everyone seems to be so organised! Altho i do have venue, band, photographer & dress sorted so i aint as unorganised as i think, just seems like i still have soo much to do!!
