I've done a little bit of planning...! We've decided to maybe have cadbury purple and a turquoise/teal colour instead of just cadbury purple, as H2B is a massive man city fan and would like to incorporate that colour!! I've also decided to buy a camera that also has an inbuilt projector (good groupon deal!) to project photos during the evening. Maybe of us over the years, then of earlier in the day so that those who weren't there in the day can see, and then maybe some silly photos of a photo booth type thing that I've also decided to set up! I also may have decided on a bridesmaid dress tonight which i'm really excited about!! It is actually one that someone else on here mentioned and I love it, as does H2B, my mum and all of my bridesmaids. I'm also heading back home in a few weeks so trying to sort out appointments with florists, jewellers, dress shops and cake shops and get all of those things sorted soon! So although I've not actually bought stuff we're making progress!!

Well.. We are meeting with people in charge of decorating our venue next week which includes centrepieces :D!! Then the week after meeting with the dj.. Found were I'm getting our limo.. So its just finalising and paying deposits..
Then get stationary sorted all the lil touches and find my dress and bridesmaid and then relax!! As all we be done apart from paying it off and making sure what we want goes =P xx

I've missed the forum (how sad lol) haven't been on for a few weeks due to work but still managed to get some stuff done.
Booked our cars last night (£370 for 2 silver Rolls Royce doing 3 journeys!) made up with them, and my sister is coming around tonight to sort my hen do out. I've been researching different locations and activities and basically got it down to Leeds or Newcastle and there's only a fiver difference in price so going to see what my sister thinks is best.
Ours is the 20th July!!! It is a Black, white and a hint of Silver coloured wedding. Getting married in Maghull (even though we both live no-where near there), I've got my dress (Roland Joyce - Doriana) :-), the cars, venue, decorations (chair and table covers and the centrepieces), caterer, photographer, cake & favours, entertainment, rings and hair & make-up are all secured!!!
Just can not wait to really get into sorting it all out, still need to sort out invites, the suits and my BM dresses (which need to be as cheap as possible) hahaha.

So hen night is now sorted and NOT what I'd originally planned lol...
My sis is off researching and we're hoping to get it booked within the next 2 weeks. Decided to stay at home as I love my city so much and with people coming from all over and inviting mum's, auntie's, cousins etc as well as friends I didn't want 2 hen do's and will incorporate a few different activities for people to come along to whatever they fancy. Can't wait to get it sorted now!

Where about in Anfield are you? I'm originally from Breeze Hill but now I live in Toxteth (the quiet version of Toxteth) LOL. The Church is St. Andrews in Maghull, the reason why it is so far away is because of the location of the Church ... it is lovely and perfect!!

Well my centrepieces and decs have been sorted.. Postbox, guest book and garter bought :)!! Waiting for a sample of our invite to do the go ahead.. And Meeting DJ monday to discuss and get rather prices and then hopefully book.. And on 21st next month its dress shopping :D Wahoo.. xx

The reception is @ the Town Hall in Maghull, literally 5mins from the Church. Mind you it will be funny telling the guests to walk over the Bridge down the main road hahaha.
The Radisson, very very stylish in there!! :-)
Oh I bet you cant wait, I cant LOL, I've warned my fiance not to be surprised if I start turning into a Bridezilla :-)

I am from Liverpool but we are getting married in a beautiful little church in Maghull. As neither one of us are from the Maghull area we had to register with the church so we could get married. There are some lovely churches by where I live but I always had this image of the perfect church and it just happened to be miles away from where we are!! LOL

Ooh Kelly that is the same day as me! You've sorted roughly the same thigns as me too which is reassuring! I haven't done BM dresses or cake but hoping to get them and the flowers sorted in the next couple of weeks as I'm going back to England tomorrow for the first time since July!

What have you all done about ordering your flowers? (Real ones) Everything I'm reading at the minute says 9-10 months before I should have ordered them!!?!?!?!?!? Don't even know rough costs of what I want. Need to get out and see some florists I think.

I've got mine ordered, by fh flowers designs in clayton sq, Liverpool.
White Roses with some babies breath flowers mixed in.
But I know what you mean about the 9-10 months to do list, I think I started ordering mine 12-15 months ago hahaha. To be honest, with the way things are with pricing now ... the sooner the better that you get everything ordered and secured the more you can concentrate on buying other little things because if you leave them too long the prices just sky-rocket!!! x

Thanks girls, will have a look at them. I've got one florist who works really closely with my chair cover peeps that I want to try and meet but she is based in Wallasey and is available between 1 - 4pm preferably. She has said we can meet at a time suitable for me and she'll just get rid of her kids lol. But wanted to go with ideas of prices and styles etc before booking.
Roughly how much are your bouquets costing?

Heylo ladies.
Okay so here's what we have done since the last update...
- CBM has her navy exam tomorrow, so we shall find out if she is on to the next stage soon enough. Obviously this is the big part, after that she has a medical and fitness thing todo but the test will be the biggest decider of whether or not she will be able to make it or not! So nervous for her.
- ****** are coming on Tuesday night at 6:30pm... Really excited about that!
- Peter's parents have offered to pay for our flights and also catering for the reception, which was really lovely of them! We will be spending two weeks in Spain so planning on visiting some new places such a Barcelona, Guadalest and wherever else we can go as a honeymoon.
- still nothing as far as ordering the second dress or bm dresses, student finance are messing me around so ATM every penny we have is going on food, bills and rent. Should hopefully be sorted next week so that we can start buying things again.
- trying to find a new photographer ATM, with the help of my MOH who knows a lot of very good ones... It's the travelling part proving difficult!
