    Morning all!

I'm getting married next year and am looking to find some wedding jewellery for myself and my 5 bridesmaids, I was just wondering where other people have got their jewellery from?

I've been recommended a company called*************my a friend and the lady there seems really nice - she makes all the jewellery herself so it'll match my bridesmaids' dresses and the colour theme perfectly (purple and cream - yey!) - plus because it's all handmade I know I'm getting something completely unique - AND it's not too pricey.

The only downside is that I'm in Shrewsbury and she's in Cambridge so I can't 'see' the jewellery for real - although she's sent over looooads of images of her work (which is amazing! so sparkley!)

Do you think I'd be bonkers to buy jewellery without getting my hands on it first?

They do returns (obv) and seem to deal with brides from all over the country, but should I see it first?

    Thanks,

    G x

EDIT - NAME OF COMPANY HAS BEEN REMOVED AS DEEMED ADVERTISING , PLEASE POP IT ON YOUR WALL

you could search on internet of reviews of the jewellery, that's what I do sometimes if im buying on line, gives me abit of reassurance. :)

Ooh good idea - they've got a FB page with lots of positive comments - plus a mutual friend got her jewellery there and said they were fab - I'm probably just worrying over nothing!! xx

Yes, it's really exciting! Wish I could post some pics of the necklaces - they're lush!

Also thinking about getting an AMAZING tiara from them - but it's £200 - how much are other people spending on tiaras?

It is lovely though - and a one off, which is really important to me cos my wedding is quite unique... and I didn't spend that much on the dress...

im getting the tiara from the shop I got my dress from....and the veil too...
but that's partly because I have no idea if every tiara thing can have a veil attached to it aha...im clueless!!
but if its one you love, and it fits the style of your wedding, why not get it!
    you only get married once!
or do as my h2b wants to anything that can be sold after the wedding we are(apparently) get some money back lol...
    xx

Lol, yeah I don't have a clue about tiaras - I've never had to wear one before!!

I like the idea about telling my h2b about selling things afterwards - I can definetely justify getting the tiara now!! And maybe some matching jewellery!!!! :)

I have the wildest frizzy curliest hair ( I look like a stuck my finger in a plug socket most of the time) so I dno if its worth having a tiara..dno if it will be seen..i feel sorry for the girl who is doing my hair and make up haha

I'm sure they will look fine and ordering online is great but personally I would rather see them in the flesh so to speak :)
