Hi, we are after a royal mail post box.... not fibreglass but original cast iron to hire in the cheshire/north wales area. I have found a fibreglass one which is naff and I found one that is cast iron but not well painted on ebay. Does anyone know of any or have any ideas of where to look. I did a google search but came up with nothing.

do you know how much they cost? I looked at some ages ago and they are nearly £100 + there are a few sites that do them though.
There's a place that hires them, there was one at a wedding fayre I went to beginning of this month, got to say it looked fab but I've no idea how much it costs, she's in the Hull area though x

I saw a fibreglass one today but it was soooo flimsey. No defo cant buy one as they cost a bomb! I know these are becoming increasingly popular but they are not popular enough yet for me to find one grrrrrr I need one that I can travel to i.e. manchester, wrexham, llandudno, chester, anyhwhere on the wirral e.g. liverpool etc as I am based in ellesmere port

happy to pay up to 40 quid as the cast iron one saw was 35 but as I said, not brilliantly painted

i have a website where you can hire one for £60 in various different colours - i'm having the traditional red one as my hubby to be is a postman so would be rude not to!!!

Just been on the site. The 60 quid one is amazing quality but fella said its too expensive so may have to go back to the more vintage idea.

UPDATE: thanks girls for your comments but we have now taken inspiration from hails and have gone for a vintage bird cage covered in flowers. We found we could hire a lovely one for only £10 from our florist. Thanks hails for showing that pic. Fell in love with it.
