Heya bride's to be, Im stuck and in need of advice. I know it may sound silly and should be common sense but i just need a lil push in the right direction. My wedding dress is Ivory..so would my ceremony and reception chair and table covers also have to be Ivory or can I get away with having White ones? My car is Ivory but that's coz I got told my dress wouldnt look right in front of a white car which is ovbious but i dont know whether the same applies to the covers? And also, what about the lil things like napkins, place cards..etc? Please help..Thank you. xXx

I wouldn't worry about it, my chair covers are white and dress is ivory/champagne. As Mindy stated, you will get yourself into a state over the colour. xxx

I think it depends how fussy you want to be about it all matching. If you went as far to make sure the car matched your dress then maybe getting matching chair and tables would be the better way to go? It probably doesn't matter though, no one is going to notice!
I didn't even think of that!!! I have an ivory dress, white chair covers etc. I (hope) it doesn't really matter!!! xx

I have never known anyone to mention it to me before not even chair cover company, venue or shop advisor. I don't think anyone will notice as they will be having too much fun and enjoying themselves. xxx

I was going to go for a white car but the owner said an ivory dress next to a pure white car could make it look as though my dress is dirty...whereas next to an ivory car it would match...thats the only thing iv really thought about...i think il just leave the table and chair covers white..im having such a great time planning my wedding day i refuse to let the colour of chair covers stress me out lol. Thank you ladies, mucg appreciated. :) xx

I wouldnt worry about it. Most brides wedding dresses are ivory and have white chair covers. I am having an ivory dress but the chair covers and my car will be white. xx

This is going to sound really stupid, but what is the difference between white and ivory...? this site will be the death of me with all the new things I keep discovering. I should have been a man. Life would be so much easier!
Though that said, I'm sure no one will pay any mind to the chair covers being different shades of white (I never even knew that was possible, I thought ivory WAS white... haha) Anyway, you don't want to blend into your chair! Or have drunken guests trying to talk to a chair thinking it's you... (trying to be funny me now, sorry haha)

Velcro there are so many shades of white you would be totally confused ivory is like a creamy white if your not sure when you go dress shopping put a white one next to an ivory dress and you will see the difference
