Having advised one of our brides to go with a violin instead of a singer yesterday, I went to a school concert last night and heard the song I want played as I walk up the aisle (very hypocritical, although mine won't be a live singer to take attention from me ;0) ). I want it for the words tho - it's a thank you to my h2b because he really did rescue me from myself and has allowed me to be myself and happy with it.
The song is "Someone Like You" from the Jekyll and Hyde musical.
I'm hoping it will be a really moving, romantic start to the ceremony.
Have any of you been to weddings where the bride's walked in to a song with words? Did it work??

So glad you've found your song :) we've potentially got van morrisons 'have I told you lately that I love you' but due to a few wording issues may not be allowed it so we're trying to think of some. We both like more heavy/rock music so were thinking of an instrumental of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters (as that's going to be our first dance song)
