I've found my dream dress but... It's on bay of E preloved which is what I was looking for as I don't want to order an online dress at least a preloved one that's not been altered can be altered to me and Is a safer bet than a china dress
But anyway I haven't even tried on 1 wedding dress yet the dress has almost 3 weeks left on to bid but is on 'buy it now'
I don't know if to just get it or go try on some first?
I can't stop thinking about it keep looking at the pics :/
    Help :( xx

Why don't your message the seller to arrange to try it on? Then you can find out if they are open to offers too ;)
Also gives u a chance to find out where they bought it... Is it a genuine gown? Take 2 different people with you to get two different opinions...

As long as you can get your money back then I'd probably buy it, try it and see from there :) good luck!!!

Could you ring around local bridal shops & see if any stock the dress, so that you can try one on?
With bay of e you will be out of pocket for return postage & the seller could also leave you negative feedback for wasting there time, I know I would!! Sorry xx

My friend purchased a dress this way. There were a lot of original pictures of the item/ She checked g00gle images to make sure they weren't pulled from another auction or website. She then tried the dress on at a local shop to see if it suited her.
When she received it everything was a described.

These Pictures are with the seller wearing the dress but I think if I get an appointment to try a similar dress on then I'll buy it as its selling for half of what my budget is so even if I didn't get a full refund yeah id be upset but I'd still have enough to get a pretty second dress thanks everyone xx

You can always ask for additional photos for peace of mind. I'm thinking of areas that are prone to damage - the hem, close ups of the bodice, etc.

My dress was on preloved and I was able to go try it on before buying it, I just searched for local sellers. Had I found one on the bay, I would of done the same as I would have rather gone to pick it up rather than posting it

Katie, i would go and try some dresses on quickly so you can get it!! I went to bridal path in altrincham and booked an appointment thru their fb the day before I wanted to go, so you could always try there. At least then you know if the dress deffo suits you. The problem is is that sometimes you have a dress style in mind but then u find something else suits you even more when you go try stuff on. Xx

Personally I wouldn't recommend just buying the first dress you see that you think you like. I saw a pic of a dress that I was absolutely convinced was the one. Went to try it on thinking I'd be putting a deposit down but it looked terrible on me. You really don't know what you like or what will actually suit you until you've tried on lots if different styles.

At the very least you need to get to a bridal shop ASAP and try on a similar dress but even then I'd still say you need to try on this dress.

If you're convinced it's the one then you'll need to see if they'll accept returns if it's not and like someone else said, you'd have to pay to return it

I think if u love it then get it but maybe message the seller to get it in writing that u can return it if it's not quite right as some sellers have restrictions on what they'll refund for I.e. Some will only refund if it's faulty x
