big decision made had to share this as im so excited to get started on my wedding plans, i had been planning a wedding in cyprus with just the immediate family coming with us but most of my family couldnt afford to come with us and i would just hate getting ready for my wedding day with knowone there then knowing i have no guests either, so weve decided to have our wedding here, im soo excited im going next sunday to have a look at the venue and hopefully book it if i like it! im sooo excited to start planning :-) xx

awww congrats
we always said that we would get married abroad but when we got engaged and mentioned it to people its turn out like you a lot couldnt afford it and also my dad probs wouldn't be able to make it
so we decide a venue near home aswell
it will make it more real i would think now cos you can plan everything yourself all the small details where as aboard i would imagine you have to put ur trust into a co-ordinater to do
which i thi nk i would find hard myself(control freak lol)

there was no way i was gettin married abroad cos of bad experience wiv sisters abroad weddin.... i was at uni ( nursing) so holidays are different from other uni students my sister and her EVIL mother in law booked the flights etc before askin any1 if dates r ok wiv us, other than the evil ones side of family, so it happened it was my exam week at uni so defo cudnt miss it or wud be put back a year. wen i said i cudnt sister said aww thought u wud be off n that her sil cud only cum this time cos kids holidays , i thought charming!!!

Thankyou everyone, yeah im sooo excited to be able to plan, i kept going over it in my mind all the little things i wouldnt get to plan myself like flowers, chair covers, table decorations! We still both love the idea of abroad but when we think that we would maybe only have 1 or 2 people there its just not the same, plus were still getting to go on a honeymoon, my FIL is going to look after my kids for either a week or 10 days so we can get away ourselves.
I cant wait for sunday to come now, iv not been to a wedding at the venue yet but alot of my friends have and all say its gorgeous and they do all inclusive wedding packages for pretty good prices, iv checked out a few places and really dont like them but i like the sound of this place as the ceremony, meal and reception are all in the same place so were not having to travel from one place to the next we can just relax!
