We have been to look at a venue tonight, masonic hall in Harrogate. We have been having a look at this for a while and finally got round to viewing it, The manager is very friendly and its the cheapest we have found so far. Ive fallen in love with it, Its all finally sinking in now. Taking my mum and nan there next week so they can have a look too then we just have to sort a final date get a deposit down and its booked!!! eeeee!!

We have been asked if we would like to go see it set up for a wedding begining of October i may take him up on that, although it may be to much to take in haha, im already extremely excited i think it might tip me over the edge LOL!!

Go along! so you've got an idea of how things are set up. You can always go to one nearer the time too. take piccies each time you go so you can compare. There's always new quirky ideas that venues are coming up with. I've not notepad and camera ready for my visit tomorrow lol
Yep camera will be at the ready, The manager has been really good as hes said if he gets any weddings booked where the bride & groom are doing a bit to decorate he will let us know so we get an idea of all the different styles and such.

Hey J, Went to my venue today :D Although they had lots of things to do they took the time out to go through things and show me exactly what's included and what isn't. Huge bonus is that they provide lots of candles and displays and they'll even put their christmas decorations up early for us! they're all mainly just soft twinkling clear lights in lots of foliage displays which will save me a fortune! Showed me all the various seating arrangements and I even bagged an extra free room for the night for some out of town guests!!! xx
