Wedding Forum - Its on Friday!!!!!...

HI all,

So my hen is approaching very fast - this Friday (9th)!! Super excited....also a little apprehensive as i thought i knew all of what was going on but there are apparantley a few surprises along the way!!! Eeek!!
So our plan is train to London at 10:30am along with some bubbly my mum has got for us :)
Afternoon tea at 2pm (unknown location - surprise)!
Ice bar at 6:30
Then onto a club called Strawberry Moons for a VIP booth, champagne, cupcakes and snack platters!!
Saturday - apart from hanging lol its a relaxing day of site seeing (open tour bus, Friends style) lol then a meal in the evening followed by more drinking!!
Sunday - return home to sleep!!

Anyone have any thoughts as to what the surprises will be? lol im so impatient!!!

Whats everyone else doing for their hens and how close are they? xx

Oh wow yours sounds like soooo much fun :) which Butlins are you off too? Haha thats probably my problem that im not in control!! :/ i just like to know things lol!! Ooooo that'll be lovely having hair and make up done the same day as well!! I had my hair trial 2 weeks ago, the same day as my dress fitting, made such a difference to the look of the dress.

Yeah were the 21st June.... i think were pretty much sorted :-/ I dont think we have anything really left to sort apart from the small bits like making favour boxes a couple of weeks before etc! Is it just me or are you getting stressed but more emotional than anything!!? I seem to be crying over anything lol!! How are your plans? xxx

Omg Amy I've been a nightmare even my moh told me off yesterday!!! Apart from my dress not even being back yet we're pretty sorted. I still need to get some bits and pieces but nothing major. X

That's a lot of altering!!! My dress was due in last week they've said they're hoping it'll be in by the end of the week. I don't know when I start to really panic!! Xx

So i'm back to work today after my amazing hen weekend!!!

First surprise was LOTS of presents on the train down,with lots of alcohol lol!! I got so many keepsakes from my bridesmaids (sisters) some of which made me well up! And then i got the dress up things like veil, wand, l plates, sash!!
Next surprise was the 'travelodge', turned out to be luxury apartments....absolutely amazing place to stay!
Then it was onto afternoon tea.....at the Hilton, had never been before and it was so lovely!
Ice bar was so much fun! Such an experience, would defo go back!
And finally on Friday... Strawberry Moons, this place is amazing, we partied hard until 3am!!

Saturday turned into a washout with rain :( so we went to Camden Market sat in a pub drinking wine and eating, then went to Covent Garden for more wine and street entertainment! Then back to the apartments for a chill out before heading to a gorgeous little italian restaurant for a lovely meal and wine. Ended up in a Shisha bar thing outside the italian dancing with belly dancers lol so random but soooo good!!

Yesterday was home time :( So many good memories and laughs!!

I hope everyone on here enjoys their hens just as much as i have!! xxx
