I'm stressing big time over my H2B, I actually want to string him up by his balls!!

He has just rung me to check that there is £400 in the wedding account that he can use for a wedding car for me. Thats £200 more than I was expecting to spend but that isn't the main point.

He won't tell me what the car is. Its a surprise.

I can here you asking, whats wrong with that?

Well, his first serious suggestion months ago was to turn up on motorbikes (we are both bikers) however I said thats a no no as I'm having a proper wedding dress, a professional hair stylist and make-up artist so getting on a bike with a helmet was NOT going to happen.

He then suggested a side-car. Enough said about that idea the better.

So then he was really excited as he had found a car that was perfect (his words). It was a 3 door blue old Astin Martin. Apparently its fine for me to scramble into the back of a car and out again in my wedding dress, heels and train. Ah no.

So, he has now booked 'something that I will like'.

I'm bricking it. Seriously, unless its something I can get in and out of easily I'm ringing him on the day and telling him it ain't happening!!

Maybe ask him if he's taken your dress/hair/makeup into consideration whilst choosing the car? If he has done then let him surprise you. If not then tell him what your needs are before he chooses and then threaten to string him up by the balls if he gets it wrong haha! :) xx

I've asked him for reassurance that I can get in and out of the car with ease in my dress and he came back with 'nope'.

    Aw, it is kinda sweet....

But let him know that if you can't get into it and out of it with your dress and make up and hair in tact, you won't be arriving in it!

I'm sure he has taken this into account and is maybe just winding you up! Xx

Hmm wasn't there a don't tell the bride where the bride parachuted into the venue.....just sayin'!

    Xx

That is nice of him that he has booked a 'surprise' car for you. Men don't really take into consideration hair/make up and dress.

Just have a standby car but I am sure he is winding you up. Something else to look foward to on the day.

    Ok, stress over.

I text him saying 'you mean. No chocolate cake for you'. This threat seems to have worked as he told me to chec with my MOH, which I did and I still don't know what the car is but my MOH does and says its fine.

I might just bake him a chocolate cake afterall. Hmm, maybe even the chocolate hazelnut brownie cake :-)

At least he had the forethought to double check with your MOH. I love it when men actually realise they might not understand women properly, and as such double check with one of your best-mates that their surprise is suitable.
Time to get baking, if I were you!
