well i've been browsing the interweb for venues, and i've come across butley Priory in Suffolk (take a look it is a-maze-ing) just emailed them for a brochure and price list. i already know it will be over budget. I will not get in debt for our wedding but i will only do it once. luckily OH has a job where he can do loads of overtime (like tonight he was supposed to be home at 5 and still no sign of him.lol) and i am more than willing to live on a shoestring for my big day. do you think it's worth it for getting the day of your dreams?

Yes! But at the same time it's what makes it perfect for you (I really should take my own advice on this one lol!), I'm sure there have been lots of married couples before us who have lived on a shoestring for their big day and there will be many more to come!

Yes definately!! Hopefully your only going to do it once!! And who knows you may be surprised to find its under budget. I managed to get my dream venue on a discounted price after requesting the brochure I found a package they didnt advertise to everyone and although on the website it was double our budget we wentfor the mid-week discounted price and got the venue of ur dreams!

yes!! when we get back from our hols in Sept its spaghetti hoops on toast for 2 years! (I quite like that tho, so will be ok!)

ooo good plan. our date doesn't mean anything to us really i just like the way 30.06.12 sounds 26.06.12 is just as good if i get THAT venue though :)

will check out pics in a sec but i def think if you can find a way to pay for it and your happy to make the sacrifices then do it because fingers crossed you will only do it the once and you will always remember the day. You may as well have it as you want it. :) xx

i had convinced myself our venue was over budget but i was actually pleasently surprised when we got the quote! you only do this once (in theory) so i think it is def worth saving in order to have the dream wedding you want rather than just making do x
