It will be my H2b grandads birthday on our wedding day and I am trying to think of a way to include his day in ours without it taking over if you know what I mean. I wondered about getting our cake lady to make him a small one of his own decorated with things he likes and singing happy birthday to him during the speeches- I thought I could inititate this even though the bride doesnt usually speak and it will show our families joining together.
What do you think? Anyone else got any ideas?

That is a lovely idea. You should definitively do something like that and the idea of you doing the speech for him, would be a lovely touch.

Maybe include him in the speech and have a birthday cake for him, next to the wedding cake? What ever you do I'm sure he'll love it.

My wedding will be on my nephew's birthday so i will be having a small birthday cake there too for him and a few little gifts and then he can join in my big party xx
