Sorrento is lovely. My god brother got married there and it was amazing. We are going on honeymoon to Venice and Rome as we love Italy too. You can't go wrong really. The co op is brilliant if you want to incorporate your honeymoon so that you are not stuck in one resort all the time and you can then travel around and see more of the country.

Hi Sherah, Have you decided on where to get married in Italy yet? We are in the same boat as you, getting married next July and unsure what town to go for. So far, it's between Lake Garda Malcesine Castle, overlooking Lake Garda - bit more pricy than Sorrento Sorrento Cloisters and then a sit down meal overlooking the sea Casteballate castle - cheapest option but I haven't seen many pictures yet so not sure!

We were gonna get married at Malcesine castle in Lake Garda, looks totally stunning! We changed our mind just before booking and are now getting married in the uk but still going on honeymoon to Sorrento. If you go to travel agents they have dedicated wedding co-ordinators (ie in Thomsons) and they will be able to assist you and any guests you have a s well xx

Italy - tuscany - is on top of our honeymoon list.
