I 'dragged' 2 of my bridesmaids with me today to try 'my' dress on, cos I was having 2nd thoughts and last time I tried it on, the zip at the bottom wouldn't fasten. Only by an inch. but an inch, is an inch. Well today when I went, I didn't want to try it on because I've not been dieting and 'I' thought I'd put weight on. It turns out that the couple of inches I needed to lose, I've lost :D And to top it off. It is definitely 'THE' dress :D My MOH saw it for the first time today. And she gave me the confidence boost tht I needed :D I can't wait for my h2b to see me in it :D:D I'm over the moon that I don't need a bigger size. I just need to stay how I am now haha :)

I think it makes a world of difference when a dress fits - well done on losing that inch :)

Amazing, I'm so pleased for you, I had the same dread when I went to try mine on in Feb - the dreaded zip!! Was expecting her to stop partway and there to be an uncomfortable silence, but it went all the way up - if I could bottle that feeling and carry it around with me I so would!! :-)

Right I'm officially taking this thread as my thinspiration! 6 months yesterday... finger is well and truly out! Bridalmiss I remember that feeling after losing weight last year, the thrill of trying on something that I didnt think would fit then finding it does was great so I can only imagine it must be that multiplied by 100 for the wedding dress x

Yes - especially as my problem was I had to lose 3 inches off my waistline to get into it!! Yay me!!And since Feb I've lost another 4lbs so by the time of the final fitting end April I should easily be half a stone lighter - the lady suggested I try to maintain my size to minise alterations, but I want them to take it in all over if they have to, just so I can feel more smug! :-)

...and so you should! You deserve to x I had to lose 2 inches off my waist and 1 off my hips when I ordered but I've been eating so much rubbish off late I'd imagine that's sneaked up, last thing I need to be doing is giving myself more to lose! Thinner me starts here x
