I ordered by bridesmaid dresses a wile ago and they all loved them when they tried them on. I ordered one of my bridesmaids dresses 1 size bigger because her weight goes up and down thinking that it would need taken in by July.. Unfortunately she tried it on again yesterday and its too small.. She forced it on that much that she has ripped the seam and the zip.. I cant afford to buy another one so my options are hope she looses the weight and i can get it fixed or ask my other friend? What do i do coz i really dont want her to think bad of me.. I need help..

She is obviously aware that she has put the weight on, could you explain that you can't afford to buy another dress and ask her if she is prepared to pay for another one. If she can't then explain that you'll have to find somebody to fit the dress.

oh no. She is going to have to try to motivate herself to fit into it as it can be fixed and taken in but it is apparently more difficult to let out. I have a similar issue with a Bm and I myself are really worried about this but at least you BM has time to fit into the dress. I dont think you should ask another friend to be BM as this would upset the original BM but she needs to know that the dress cant be sent back and a new size ordered so she has to fit into that one. Its delicate isnt it? Just try and word it nicely for her but make it clear thats what she will have to do.

Oh no, poor luv, she must feel awful, I'm sure she'll lose some weight in order to get into it. I feel really sorry for her, no girl likes to put on weight and this will make her feel embarrassed and rubbish about herself. She still has time if she eats healthily and exercises - 45mins a day will do the trick, swimming is the best.
    xx

Oh dear that is awful,i wouldnt ask anothe friend but i might approach her and say you cannot afford to buy another dress and see what she says, i'm guessing she will either say she will lose the weight or buy another dress.

Thanks girls.. I'll have to think about what i am going to say to her.. I just got a call from here today to say she can't make the hen nite.. She's already let me down for making the invites and showing the girls the venue and rooms.. I'm just a bit deflated with her at the minute... I have time to sort it out..
