personally my H2B isnt really very involved in planning our wedding but it doesnt really bother me. I'm the one that does all the research and narrows it down to a short list of suppliers/things and then just run the final decision past him. he is involved as much as to say that he thinks ive done a great job and he did all the venue appointments. hes really excited about the wedding and getting married but i suppose he is just a typical bloke and isnt really fussed about the little things. he says that he picked the venue and thats the main bit so hes not really fussed about the rest lol. he is enthusiastic when i show him things and keeps saying that he cant wait to see what my invites etc will look like :) doesnt bother me as it keeps me really busy as he is away in the week as he is in the army.
just wondering who's H2B's are involved in the planning of your wedding? and if they arent involved does that actually bother you? x

Mines involved when he feels like it but gets Mardy with me for talking about it if he's not in the mood :-/
His job is the cake and he's done something for us to put cards in.. He's decided I'm going with him to choose his suit..
One minute he'll be just as weddingy as me and then the next it'll be moaning at me telling me to 'Give him a break' ... He'll tell me something's my choice, he's not bothered and then tell me a couple weeks later its MY wedding not OUR wedding because I'm having all the final says....... It's very odd and annoying lol xxx

My OH has planned just as much as I have if not a little more.
We have made a lot of decisions together which has made the planning even more of a part of our relationship which has been really nice.
We have both been married before so maybe that might have something to do with it - both knowing what we'd like and not like.
We have agreed on a lot too so it obviously confirms how right we are for each other!

Lol. I have a few years till me and the oh get married. But he is as he wants to be. He watch dttb to get ideas of what he wants on the big day. He wants to choose the colour of the bridesmaids dresses as they have to match the ties. Lol. He's told me before booking or buy a anything he would like to be informed. But my oh has been married before as well and first time he didn't have any say. So i thing with our wedding he wants to be involved. Witch is great as im dislxyic ( can never spell that word. Lol.) and colour blind so i really need it. Lol. Xxx

My oh has been great he has a wedding file and everything! He's more organised than me at times I'm lucky really cos he's been great bless that's why I love him x
Half and half for me and my other heal. He has sorted out venue, photographer and humanist meetings etc while i have made place settings and bought little decorations. xx

I'm in charge of everything and love it! He has helped in the final decisions but I do the hard research! He's basically letting me have my dream day (within reason) which is fab! He is very nervous though bless him x

He will tell anyone whi listens he dosnt care and its all mine to decide etc, but he is opinionated and will be a massive groomzilla when he wants! We both agree on the main things and the little things are 'a waste of money' when I first pitch the idea but 'a wicked idea' if he sees it later and forgets I planned it! Lol its typical really!

My OH says he proposed so the rest is down to me! I'm still hoping that was a joke!! He doesn't really seem to have an opinion when I show him different options. Like the venues he said he liked them all when they were all completely different. AAAH! So when he does say he wants something or comes up with an idea I make sure I go with it! And I've put him in charge of organising the honeymoon, or at least where to go. It did annoy me a little at first but I know he loves me and wants to marry me and I am crazy about planning things so I've learnt to just accept it and enjoy when he does have ideas xx

Hes done a fair whack himself... he did the car and done the grromswear and the rings too. Hes also researcged the band. I've done, flowers, venue, cake, my outfit, food, decor...all the girly stuff!

interesting to see who helps and who doesnt! i take a bit of what i said back. H2B asked me to stop doing favours and invites etc last night as he wants to help do them when hes back at the weekend. shocked me that he wanted to be involved in something that before he said he wasnt really fussed about whatever i want he says lol. but i will look forward to having him help me at the weekend and will get it done twice as quick :) x

Well.... The H2B doesn't help at all, but the W2B is fantastic ;) all our decisions are made together once we have researched, visited and decided on them between us! It's good to be planning with someone who is as excited as me and also knows that the little things matter :) x

H2B has left most of the stuff down to me up to now. I researched all the venues and then we sat down together to go through them. I went to visit the venue with my mum and MOH first and then took him back to see it afterwards. I think because it is just under 3 years away, he thinks we have more than enough time to be thinking about the wedding and he does work two jobs bless him so I can stay at home with our son. I like it this way and he knows I do. He says as long as I am happy he is, and I am loving planning our wedding at the minute! I am a bit of a control freak and he is too laid back for his own good! That must be why we work so well together xx

I think most blokes want to say they've had input, but . Know so many who don't really Care about matching details up or being creative. I know a lot who would remember key elements and details... But the actual finesse, if left to them, would be non existent!

Mine is happy to let me get on with it, its usually "whatever you want darling"...i just need him to agree when I make final decisions and when we have to pay- just to make sure he's happy! But he is sorting out the legal side of things, so if that bit messes up, it's kind of a big deal!! haha. But literally everything else will be my decision, with a nod from him. :) xx

at the moment H2B is in charge of getting his uniform and swords for guard of honour and arranging our married quarters so he thinks that plenty of responsibility for himself lol. tried to get him to sort out the music for evening and he just moaned and said that he didnt want to lol...men!! x

I think they may feel their not up to it mines left most of it to me but has had slot of input I never thought I'd see him with a wedding file so organised and in alphabetical order he helped with the car, we both agreed on venue we couldn't come to an agreement with first dance song so I got my way with that thank god didn't fancy Diana Ross!!!! Lol we both picked colours ivory and navy etc x
