Putting some imput into the wedding. Mark just agree's with anything, he just doesn't pu his opinions across. He made it clear he didnt want a big party but thats it, I seem to be making all the decisions. I know I shouldn't complain but it would be nice to have a little help with planning. He just keeps saying he trusts my judgement and he trust I will make the day special. Is anyone elses H2B like this......

it seems to b e more of a "woman" task...so dont feel disheartened..just cause he's not givin much opinon doesnt mean he doesnt care etc..all i got througout my planning was "i dont mind" "im not fussed, you choose" etc

Yeah H2b is great at saying if he likes something or not and he also has ideas for songs and other things. He is also going to help me make the invites too! Thank god cause I don't think even I want to sit making that many lol. I think some men just want you to have the day your way so don't want to put a downer on anything hence they just agree. It doesn't mean they don't care and they do want to get married. They just want it to be like your dreams.
Isn't it so fustrating though lol..... Thats all my partner says.... At least mine isn't the only one.... I will have to rely on the bridesmaids for help lol

Well, when we started arranging the wedding Mark was the one who picked the date, booked the venue, and arranged the band. I found and booked the photographer, though we both went to meet him. Since then Mark has said he's happy for me to organise the cake and flowers as thats more a girl's thing and he's not really fussed what we have lol! I have also been getting onto him about arranging to meet the guy who will do the hand fasting ceremony but he still hasn't e-mailed him, I have done a draft copy of our invites and am still waiting for him to 'tweak' them and print them off, and we still haven't started our hand fasting cord!!! Arghhhhhh sooooo much to sort out :-(

My oh doesn't seem to be interested at all! He has told me things and places he doesn't Like but not what he does like! It's so frustrating coz I want it to be abroad I want to send the invites out asap but I can't without knowing where it's gona be! I found a hotel I loved but he doesn't like it so I told him to find one but two weeks later has he looked online? Nope! And if I mention it.... I'm pressuring him! Argh I keep saying people are booking for 2013 and places will be booked if we don't start looking now but it seems he is not bothered and doesn't believe what I'm trying to say! Thing is he asked me to marry him yet he doesn't wana talk about the wedding at all. Haha anyone feel for me???! Lol

When we first got engaged Steve told me that he was happy for me to make all the decisions but that he would like a bit of input as to what we had... now he's the one saying no to almost everything while I'm running around trying to find things... I think the phrase is "be careful what you wish for" lol

david is involved very heavily and I know most brides would love that but I kind of like to have wedding related things done within a certain time so I have to wait whilst he does the research ive already done if you get me..... so everything I get excited about gets put on hold until he checks it out.... good in that at least we are planning it together but im too impatient to wait.

Yeah he's helping a lot. We discuss everything - but things like my dress he's left to me. He's been involved choosing colour, bm dress styles, everything to do with ceremony, reception and night do - and even went with me to enquire about flowers (and give advice to me about everything).
In fact I've just found him online looking up music for the ceremony lol. Now that's being involved.

Definately a man thing, mine just nods and grunts or grumbles a no whenever I ask his opinion on anything without taking his eyes off the xbox game lol, he could be agreeing to a Flintstones theme for all he knows. That said though, when its something thats going to cost a lot its always a no.....hmmmmm

me h2b is soon goin to be my divorced h2b if he carries on hahah he's not freakin intrested and leaves it to me but i have spent all day today makin some hair fasinators for my bm and hey ho we all like them but he turned round to me and said "why dont you stop tryin to make things and buy them proffessionaly" :@ my sister thought i had bought them!!!! was shocked when i told her id made them ill put piccys up tomorrow and u can judge for yourselfs, he does this on everything!!!! and im starting to feellike hes just constantly pulling me down i love him to bits and wanna marry him we've been together nearly 14 yrs and got 3 kids together BUT we are soooo opposite that sometimes if im tbh i wonder!! im outgoing fun talkative like different not following everyone else but hes complete opposite not a talker doesnt like standing out hates been noticed he doesnt seem to have fun or a laugh with me but does when hes with friends so its hard for me to organise our wedding when we have complete different taste and ideas xxx

unless it's to open his wallet (which he hasn't done yet) or to attend a meeting than hasn't really helped out, he helped picked the venue but for him he says he's too much stress and tbh with his job and own business to run i can imagine why he's saying that. He just wants me to have my perfect day so said that they only way to do it is if i'm picking the main items.....give it another couple of months and he'll want to join in haha x

My H2B has let me know just how he wants the day to be, but then left all the arranging up to me. . . He has no idea on the cost of things, he set aside £100 in his budget for all flowers (he wants church flowers 3 bouquets, buttonholes, corsages, centrepieces, e.t.c.) Which makes it alot harder!!! Men hey? Xx

ed isnt really having much imput but that is his choice. i ask him and he just says what ever i want. quite lucky really!! he said he would rather not know anything and let it be a surprise. should be a program called dont tell the groom. he would love it!!

gem yerh sounds like a good idea when i have a proper go at him he pays attention for like a day what annoys me the most is he pulls and knocks everything i do like im tryin to add my our touch to things but he just says thinks like buy em dont try makin them looks like kids have made em at school :@ which is hurtfull and i wouldnt mine but imo and my bm's sister daughter and niece dont think they are neither does me hephew or sons just "HIM" if he doesnt watch it ill be makin flowers to put in his bloody coffin!!! wheres the support and encouragment for his wife to be????? makes me feel great all this knockin bac from him ;-( x

Mine WANTS to help but he's so tired when he gets in from work, when I mention anything to do with the "w" word he starts to look stressed out and puts his head in his hands :-D He had all these brilliant ideas about the wedding to begin with, bless him, but it's all landed on me now - I do all the research, then put a load of info in front of him and say "right. Decision please!". I reckon most men are the same, TBH. :)

My h2b has been ... ok. He booked the DJ (but only because I told him I wasn't going to, and if he wanted a DJ he'd have to find one!) but he was brilliant with our invitations - we knew we didn't want anything with "formal" wording, so he made up a poem! He chose his outfit .. but other than that I've done it all.
