Myself & my bridesmaid have sat down together today to talk about my hen do! Went through so many ideas & then come up with something ive always wanted to do!!
Have a 'Spa day at c/parcs its only about 30minutes drive and this is what is included on the day for £69pp

So me and my bridesmaids sat and did a event on book of face for the people i would like to invite!
Ive had about 5 people out of 7 come back to me saying that they cant afford this amount of money at all!! All my friends live at home and most of them have said it would be cheaper to go out for a meal & drinks inthe city, Where i think this is cheaper!
Im feel like screaming! & saying lets not bother! Its so wrong to be like this & i sound like a b+++h! But i dont mean to be...
I really just needed to have a good moan Lol x

Oh that is so reasonable and sounds fab I'm only an hour away i might join you lol x I had the same problem and my hen party is then pounds more than yours, what i have done is asked the girls to pay a deposit by a certain date then if they havn't they are not coming! lol xx

I'm paying for transport to get there and back so i didnt think it was too bad! Some of them dont drive so thought it would be nice for them not to worry! If the worse case comes and no1 wants to go bar me and my bridesmaid we will just go ourselves :)

I don't think that is unreasonable at all! I have actually decided to go away over night for my henny and I have invited 20 of the girls to come along with me, the mob and the bridesmaid! I have explained they are all going to have to pay for their hotel rooms and train fare which it £45 each and the still have meal and drinks etc to pay for on top of that and not one of them have said no!! I think some of them are more excited than I am, lol.
But I also agree with Cally, i am going to ask for the room money so that I can get the rooms booked, them that don't get it to me by the date I need it will not be coming. So I think your £69 is really good value!! Don't know where they are going to get a meal and a good night out on the drink for under £69 in the city??? X

It did make me wonder angie0678, Just will have to see what happens! One of them have no said about just going swimming at a hotel up the rd but its still £23pp and includes nothing!x

lyslblanc i left my SIL in charge and she let me down so organised it myself lol. We have a cocktail masterclass and food =£30 Bed and Breakfast =£30 t-shirt and goody bag = £15 and the train fare to York from my hometown is £20approx so not too bad I dont think. They are making payments of £45 by 30 March and the rest six weeks before the day. The only one who questioned the price was SIL but I put my foot down and said that was the price and I couldn't get it any less xxx

I adore York we're staying in Leeds, I think SIL wants to show me I can trust her and she just moved and is awaiting internet installation so its OK but mid March if she hasnt booked anything I'll do it as 2 months before is the latest I'll allow things to be booked

My hen party is the 4th August and we get married the 1st September I just wanted it sorted so i could concentrate on the rest of the bits for the Wedding lol x

No that doesn't sound expensive at all. My aunt had a spa and that was £100 and and didn't include lunch or any treatments.

I think thats very reasonable. My hen night is costing £65 upfront - which is transport in limo and entry to Ministry of sound. Then they will have to pay for their drinks etc on the night. I will be asking deposits for the transport as its on a p/p basis to work out the costs evenly x

That sounds like a great deal, you get so much included! But i do understand that to some people, £69 is a lot of money. If i was asked for that much, i'd have a little panic about where i'd find the money lol xx

I'm having 2 nights one is £21 for comedy club, meal, and a free drink and disco then the 2nd is my big moulin rouge theme night £58 for a night in liverpool accomadation included and lots of vip bar and club entry I have the same amount of time as you and have set up fb events so people have time to pay it off I think the price for what your doing is very reasonable and the people that want to be there will do what you want hunni dont worry about the ones who moan its too much its their loss x
I'm going to Blackpool for the weekend; hopefully! I agree with Sian, don't worry about people who moan about paying their own way(especially not when they're getting such a good deal!), remind them they're not having to pay for a wedding! If it's what you want to do, then I say go for it with those who are willing to pay, and as for those who aren't they are the ones loosing out. Good luck (people can be so stressful sometimes)

to be honest i wouldnt have thougtht a meal and drinks would end up cost more thats something i would like to do if i have an hen party. i dont have loads of friends to invite out some it would be my 2 sisters my sister in law and her daughters (maybe) my 3 neices all over 17 and my h2bs brothers partners if they wanted to go.

i think it's very reasonable, I'm off to Leeds for my hen night so will be hiring a mini bus which me and the girls will all be sharing the cost amongst us the price will depend on how many go and which size bus we will be needing. no more than £30 each which will work out cheaper then train fares! then there is the accomodation to pay for too wich looks like it could be anything from £25-35 each, then when u also include the fancy dress and food and drink on night time it works out allot more than your spa day! (im asking for every1's money b4 i book anything by a certain date too) also none refundable (why should i be out of pocket) I think if they really want to be part of your day they would make the effort! they even have time to save some money! hope u don't let these people spoil your hen day/night! x

I think that is a great price I've got someone coming in to do my sil2b hen party with food and drink it is coming to £55 pp and that's at home. I would pay that for a hen party

i dont think its expensive but u dont get £69 for use of the spa but u dont get a treatment???? so 69 to wear robes n use stuff and a meal i think thats wat they r thinkin
