I can see what you mean. I say get what you want now, you can always change it later if it ends up bothering you. But I have a feeling you won't want to do that.

I really like it. If you do, go for it. I know many people who have had numerous wedding rings throughout their marriage due to weight loss etc etc so its not unusual.

I actually have 2 on! I bought a 2mm as my wedding ring then decided it was too thin so bought a 4mm one. I got wed with the 4mm one but when we got home, hubby said to put the 2mm one on too so i have the 2mm one, my e ring them my 4mm one on :)

but in palladium, 3 or 4 mm. I was going to get a run of the mill normal ring but i really wanted this one. Its very me! Im getting what i want now and when im older .. ill still love it. It will match my tattoos lol. I have stretched ears, Pillarbox red streaked hair, sleeve tattoos, and this matchs me. So i say get what you want and enjoy being different. If you hate it after a while you can always change it or have it melted down and made into something different so technically its still the same ring lol

Ah what a shame, I really liked your choice of ring.

I've got a plain court shape ring. The court shape ring is meant to be comfier because its rounded on the inside. Xxx

What about getting the ring design made from a custom jewellers. I know mine offered to do my OH design for like £150, which includes an engraving on the inside. Maybe the same could be done for you??

id stick to the same metal personally, you dont want one ring wearing the other ring down.

Could you not just get a plain band and have the hearts etched on or something?

I don't know whether its the same with different metals, but I was told by someone that you shouldn't wear different karat rings as they wear each other down, but a jewellers and metal expert told me that its not an issue unless your talking about 24k gold, anythign less than 18k is fine to wear together (ie 9 and 14, 18 and 9 etc) as its only over 18k that the metals are really different enough to make any wearing. So maybe go and talk to an expert, look online etc for some impartial advice, it might be a similar rule or have some information or way to have it in the metal you want.
