One thing I realised after looking at prices - are you having 100 guests? Remember you probably wont need 100 invites/thank you cards - normally you can half the numbers due to couples/families xx

I paid £3 for 60 day invites. (Gold with a pair of silver rings on it)
and £2 for 50 evening invites... ( gold with Silver Horse shoe on it) Both from My local Stationary shop in the sale.

They are gorgeous, and even the family has commented how nice they were.

Claire VistaPrint through Quidco, you'll probably be able to find them for free and just pay postage and also get quidco cashback.

I got 100 beautiful postcard invites (look at my pictures) for free, paid the £5 odd postage charges and got £10 cashback, so in fact they paid me to have them.....

I think £300 for invitations is an awful lot of money and a bit of a waste really as most people will just bin them and vista print has lovely designs and if you want to make them unique you can always go to the poundshop to buy some bling to put on.....x

as i mentioned yesterday, quidco is brilliant for getting cashback, open an account and everytime you buy something on line see if quidco have money off vouchers and cashback available and go through them........my dad has had hundreds back so far and i'm up to £40 odd pounds in just a few months.......every penny helps lol x

I had another look on ebay and found invitations, very similar to the other with the high price and this new seller is good, i get the option of choosing a colour to fit my theme and personalise them what ever other way i'd like, so i asked for a price quote from her for 100 invites and she said she will charge me £130 and £12 postage and they come with rsvps and envelopes saving me extra in buying seperate ones. so happy as i really love these invites :) xx

I was going to say I am making my own and I think it cost me about £30 for all the cards/envelopes and inserts to do invites x 50, thank yours x 50, OOS x 60 etc then I am paying £20 for the personalised ribbon which does all the above plus other things I need it for. I got some fab paper for £5 and then its just the cost of the printer ink and my time. Oh and the paper is also for other things I need too for decorations so the theme matches everything.

sounds a lot... take the advice from the other girls and shop around.

cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo
    start weight 10st 1.5 lbs
    weight now 8st 4.5 lbs
total loss to date: 24.5 lbs now need to maintain!
  27.

I got a quote of just under a grand for 100 people:
    menu's,
    save the date,
    order of services,
    invites,
    table numbers,
    place cards and
    table planner.

Bit steep me thinks but you "only do it once" or supposed to anyways...peh...either way, if theyre what youve chosen, have a look round for the same design but cheaper....or print the design off/order a tester and take them down to a local joint see if they can make them up cheaper.

    xx
