    Hi
This is my first post so please bear with me. I have been quoted a price for cars for my June 2015 wedding and was wondering if its an ok price as I have not got a clue. For a Rolls Royce Ghost and Bentley Arnage T we have been quoted £960. This is to take us to venue with one car doing two journeys and also to get pictures taken with.

It sounds way too pricey to me. For that price, I would expect to have another car included. generally you would expect to pay around the £600 mark for what you have (£300 per car).

As Clive says, that sounds way too high, normally it would cost you around the £600 mark as already been said xxx

AshleighB39 where do you live? What day are you hiring the cars? How many miles away is the venue? Is there another company in your area with the same cars? These are all things that need to be considered before saying wether its too much or not. I'd suggest getting a second quote from another company and then compare like for like.

Yes depends where you live and if you have your heart set on that car? I am getting married in Preston and my wedding car is likely to be coming from Darwen, it is a baby bentley as I wanted something modern and they are charging £175 including champagne....

I live in central Scotland. My wedding is a Saturday in June. One car is doing 2 journeys - 1 20 minute journey and 1 15 minute journey with the other car jus doing 1 15 minute journey. When I have had a look at other companies in my area nobody seems to have both the same cars just one. This price includes champagne, water, flowers and ribbon.

What do the other companies charge? It sounds like they're charging more because they have something other companies don't have. The question is, is it really worth it?

This is one area that seems to fluctuate ma-hoosively....I think it depends on what other options are available in your are. When I used the quote me service, they came from £350 to £1200 for pretty much the same thing.

Have you tried using the quote me service on here?

we are in Stafford and we are having a Bentley Arnage which is costing us £275 inc champagne for 20 mile journey from my home to the venue and for pictures, We have had some discount but full price should be £300 so that seems a little expensive to me, but may be dependent on areas. x

Sounds steep to me! Were paying £295 for a classic camper van, two journeys and champagne included. I'd shop around if I were you, its amazing how much different companies quote, good luck :)

Hey AshleighB39, I'm about 7 miles outside of Glasgow. I'm having 2 Chrysler 300c do 1 trip each from my Mum's house to the venue (just under 8 miles). Plus it's staying for a few hours for photos etc.. We're having a mid-week wedding so getting a slight discount but we are still getting them both for £300 x

We looked into cars but no way could we justify hundreds of pounds for an 8 mile journey!! Seemed a bit ridiculous. So my uncle is taking us in his 7 seater chrysler :)

Just be realistic about it, do you care enough to spend the money? We didn't, but I know a lot of people do. But nearly a grand is beyond a joke. Look elsewhere.

I agree... ours wasn't even bartered but we thought was a faor deal as normally covers about 4 trips... we have all the trips we want now so long as they stay in that 4 hour window which works perfectly for us as we only need it in the hour before the ceremony, during the ceremony (thats 2 and a half hours so far) and then half hour to photo venue, half hour at photo venue and then driven to reception.. which conveniently is 4 hours! They're taking mum and 2 MOHs to church first in convoy with my Uncles Jag then picking Dad and I up to get to church!
