ok i got a quote for my flowers :) im having mainly roses and lilys with gold bears grass and a few smaller flowers like fresias or summin, but i have my boquet - (like a teardrop kinda shape one) 3 x BM boquets, hand-tied posies 2 x FG posies (like them balls of flowers on a loop of ribbon. 10x centrepiece arrangements in martini glasses - with mirror mats 3x top t+able arrangements, (1x long and low for the middle, 2x taller end ones) 4X corsAGES for mums, 8x buttonholes 1x grooms buttonhole.
i was told £725. is that about right? i am TOTALLY clueless when it comes to flowers and prices so i have no idea if im gettin a good deal or gettin ripped off! lol

Yikes that is a lot of money. Not sure if it is good or not as our venue do our table decs and flowers so I only had to pay out for the bridal party.

your top table arrangements will be the majority of it! For a 1 metre length top table mine is costing £100 xx

Crikey. I'm so glad that our venue pays for the flowers for the tables. I know we are paying for it indirectly in the package but for what we get to what it costs us it works out really well for us.

mine doesnt actually include ceremony flowers or table flowers as that is included in my venue package x

I think it's a good price, table centre pieces will be a huge bulk of that price and alot of people have there's included so that's why there flower prices are cheap. I spent £140 on my table centre pieces but they are just hurricane vases.
Also the price will reflect the quality. My bouquet is costing me alot and some people told me it was far too expensive so I shopped about and had different companies send me buttonholes and brought from eBay and then compared them all to the company I'm using and none were as good. Buying cheap doesn't always work but I do know alot of women haven't paid much at all for there flowers but they are gorgeous, just got to find the right people.
If you shop around and get a cheaper price just ask to see something made up and then decide Xx

Please check out my thread on average prices The martini glasses can be up to 60 each as most florists include a rental fee for the glasses in case they get smashed etc
Average price for the martini glasses ( were having underwater ones) is anywhere from 35 to 70 depending on area closer to london the more expensive!
