as the title says really i had the idea to have some little hearts made with our names the date and thank you for coming written on them made out of wood for our favours. rys dad does goergeous things with wood!! but i dont know if this seems more like a save the date type thing or not as we were thinking of putting little magnets n the back so people can keep them too x

any help would be great!! otherwise ideas for favours that are really cheap as we have practically no money lol xx

I think it's a lovely idea. You could always put names, date and thank you's on the side with the magnet and have something else on the front, a cute quote or something. Just a suggestion cause then people might be happier to display it permanently rather than take it down when it's not as relevant any more.
    My thoughts anyway :)

Oh oh! You could put their names on them and they could double up as place settings!

not only that, you *could* be lucky, and match the timber to your colour theme.

    ah! ok,...

If black is you main could, then get hold of some birch plywood, very cheaply at a local timber merchants and get the spray paint out.. Same with white and aqua. If you want it natural, then solid wood would be best.

we have painted ours ivory and then decorated them with turquoise and silver and putting peoples names on for place tags but we are also having little jam jars with sweets in.We were just going to have the hearts originally but then oh decided they had to have some kind of treat to eat too. x
