so i got my dress and it's lace and was thinking of my venue dressing and was thinking of chair covers to be a clolour (brown) with lace over eg

but i was wondering to have the same sort of idea for table runners or would it look too much?

I don't think so, i think it would tie it all together nicely, i dont think its any different than having a colour scheme, everything will just match :)

I think it's easy to overdo lace but I dont yours would be - sounds lovely, will tie everything in and is the perfect amount but I wouldnt go with anymore than that x

that's what i was worried about was overdoing it. i just needed some advice as the person i trust to give me the best advice as gone on holiday and i wanted to start my plans this week while i've got time off work :)

i think it would look lovely. i love the chair sash pic. our theme is lace but dint think about putting lace on chairs. we have votives, all stationary, the cake, my shoes, the table centres and some of the vases for candy buffet with lace on them so it all ties in xx

well i've not found anyone who does lace but thinking of d.i.y chair covers as i'm quite handy with stuff like that and i found a place that does the materials for cheap :) going to see the venue tomorrow to start planning properly to start getting my ideas going :)

yea i got my lace off the bay they were seconds cos they had a slight pink edge so i dyed them blue got rid of the pink measured my seats so they would fit cut the length to 2 metres as wanted them shorter than the under sash, my mum did a simple hem on the ends like 2mm on her sewing machine they look great and cost me approx £1.20 each to make, ive made 45 all together.do you want the name of the ebay seller he sells loads of lace
