Just wondering what ur thoughts are ladies.... is it a rule of thumb that if wearing dangly earrings, to not wear a necklace also?! I find myself stressing over my wedding jewellery (silly i know!) just cant find anything i like!!! I have quite a sparkly detailed side tiara and detailing under the bust of my dress and also a chapel length veil so dont want to look like a christmas tree fairy!!!! I have bought a necklace and dangly earrings from debs of hams but i just feel like i have delved into my mums jewellery box as a kid!!!!!

dont have pics but have decided against the ones that I have, they jst dnt match the details on my dress at all! jst dnt know wether to go for big earrings or small earrings and necklace... might feel naked without a neckace but then again, a necklace with everythin else might b a bit much!!! oh the silly things i get worked up about!!!!!
    xx

Most brides I talk to usually say they find the jewellery that will go with their dress so obviously they buy the dress first! Simple dress, extragant jewellery and vice versa
I dont think there is any rule to jewellery to be honest as long as you like it.
My mum has always said pearls at a wedding is unlucky so I didnt have any at my first wedding this time however I seem to have them everywhere ....on invites, favours, bridesmaids gifts and yep my jewellery lol
I have my ears pieced but I cant wear ear rings as my ears go funny BUT I am having some clip on ones made for me to go with my jewellery hehehe

So like I said if you like it and it goes with your dress then wear both hun

lol hails... well i hope ur pearls bring u lots and lots of luck!!!!!
i think i am trying too hard to match everything! the side tiara compliments the unusual detailing on the dress perfetcly so i think thats where i am falling down!!!

Have you got your dress at home yet? If so try it all on and see - if not I think you need to have a few options ready for when the dress is ready and next time you go try it on take all the jewellery with you. I don't think there is a "rule" just see what looks nice - get a couple of opinions from your mum, bm's etc.

I've got a really simple strand of freshwater pearls, each one is separated by a bit of chain so not a complete loop. Also have some silver and pearl earrings which are quite long but simple so not too much together. I am planning on making quite an elaborate side tiara/comb for myself so want to keep the rest simple.

I think you don't want to much as want te attention on your dress and tiara and I definitely think less is more. I am wearing my mums simply gold chain with a diamond on the end and a simple pair of diamond earrings.... Have you get a simple necklace you can wear? Xxx

I get married in 3 weeks and still haven't sorted my jewellery, my dress is very big Cinderella style and need a very simple bracelet, I have dangley ear rings and feel like a necklace as well would bit too much! But I suppose it really depends on your whole look, I have seen plenty of brides with a large necklace and drop ear rings and a bracelet and it looked lovely x
