i think they're all lovely, I particularly like the Allure Bridals - and I'm only 24 so its not like I'm looking at it from the point of view of someone a lot older than you :o) I was similar to you, I wanted something simple and elegant but I wanted an A-line, again with little to no bling. They're all beautiful, have what you like and don't listen to them xxx

I love, love... love it & I am only 24 & going for this style although I am a hollywood dreams kinda gal or so you would think. I wanted lace & something timeless & classic looking when I got down to it. Also I thought I would look daft in a big dress when its just the two of us x

i think the dresses look gorgeous very elegant and classic. i think as long as you love the dress and feel comfortable that is all that matters. they would look great with your jewellery. xx

Thank you LMB - I think I came across this briefly when researching photographers (Nordica Photography I think ) :) It's such an amazing country! As soon as we have even the smallest bit of money saved after the wedding we're gonna go, just the two of us :) Xx

i have to say that all the dresses are really nice and you have to remember all dresses look different when you actually try them but for me i would not have had dresses like that.
i think when people are shown pics of wedding dresses they always imagine what they will or would have had and not imagining someone else in them if that makes sense xx

Yeah Anastasia already had so many people moan about Iceland being cold / no cities that we've just said screw it and swapped to Vegas haha! :) Twas your thread on NYC vs Vegas that decided it in the end, was getting so jealous reading it lol Xx

I think they are lovely dresses! Have you tried any on? What they look like in pictures doesn't compare to seeing yourself in them!
Its your wedding not theirs so don't listen to 'em.

I think it would be very flattering and show off all your curves, without making it look like your legs are tied together, which some fish-tail style dresses tend to do. Just my personal taste though - I'd just say go with whatever YOU like and don't worry about what other people think. It's YOUR wedding after all, not theirs, and they will get the chance to pick something that matches their own taste when THEY get married.
All wedding dresses are "wedding-y" - that's why they are called wedding dresses :)
