i am marrying in cyprus may 2014..so far weve booked the church (there were only 2 time slots left for that day!! we chose 4pm the last one so dnt have to rush off fpr the next bride to arrive) and we have booked our reception venue and photographer too. Cyprus seems to book up quickly so falling in live with the venues we booked as we'd hate to lose out on them..

I also have my dress..its gorgeous...backless lace number with lots of beading. i bought it on impulse on the bay bidding site..the bride who had it made was no longer getting married, she never went into detail why?! the price tag says £1200 and i got it for £50..its amazing, my dream dress but i darnt try it on as i am still slimming down after giving birth 4 months ago..ive lost 4 stone and am a 12 but the dress is a 10..if i try it and dont like it i have only wasted £50 which in the grand scheme of things is not a lot but i really want the dress to look perfect so i am trying to get down to the size 10 before i try it :l

i have also bought everything for my brooch bouquets and started to make them, and someone i know on face book was selling large birdcage centre pieces in vintage style which is my theme..so i snapped them up too as the were a barg!!...some ppl (espesh the inlaws) think im mental for doing so much so soon but im currently on maternity leave until new yr and will probs have to go back to wk full time so the more i can do now the better...plus were going to struggle to save for everything so doing little and often now we notice the expense a lot less...next yr when im back at wk i will probably struggle to do anything creative in my spare time so for now..im enjoying it :)

    xx

Book the big things in advance then take time with the smaller details, and take your time with these. I'm planning on making the most of the sales between now & W-day to get the things I really want without paying top prices for them. Plus, as I'm making so much of my own decorations etc, I'll need the time to do them and enjoy doing it too.

Remember - its nearly 2013 already, and there will always be other things cropping up in the mean time to take your time up, so it'll soon pass!

it is better to start early, to save money and if anything went wrong, you will have time to solve it
