    Hi Everyone
My wedding is not far away. but at the begining of the process I wanted a magician H2B didn't warm to the idea as he thought it wouldn't work so as a comprimise he suggested a fun casino. now I am the one in the relationship that has to be held back and i could of blown he budget 10x over if H2B agreed to all of my ideas LOL. so when he suggested the casino i was all for it and still am.
Now we went to a wedding 3 days ago and one of there friends that was invited was doing magic to the children and some adults this was not a paid magician for the day he just brought a few bits a long as he likes to do this.
H2B has now seen the advantage of having a magician and we are now discussing having the magician at the wedding we went to 3 days ago to entertain the children at a cost of £250 for 3 - 4 hrs as we know he can keep the kids entertained and they all seemed to really enjoy themselves. Now we are also looking at another magician for the adults for 3- 4 hrs at a cost of £350.
As we are already having a casino for our guests and a DJ do you think having 2 magicians as being over the top ? or do you think that would be about the right amount of entertainment ? we have 83 for the sit down meal and another 60 -70 for evening reception.
Also is there any of you having a magician at your wedding ? if so do you think the prices are about right that we have been quoted

I would just stick to the one for the children. You're guests will be more than entertained with the casino and DJ. For comparison I am having no entertainment for my guests. We are having a small wedding but the entertainment will be an iPod, drink, food and the beach. I think it's a great idea for the kiddies though.

I agree with Tegan, keep the magician for the kids as he will probably end up entertaining the adults as well.

I'm having a magician hun (adult one!) and can't wait. We have a lot of friends/family attending that don't know each other and think it'll break the ice.
