I'm not sure. I was thinking about this yesterday as she hasn't been too involved with the planning I wondered if she'd like to come with me to my next dress fitting

I think it is just the groom, but not showing mine to the MOG (love the expression) as she would bloody well show him a picture !!!!

No its just the groom you should keep it a secret from. I used to work in a wedding dress shop & loads of brides took both their Mums & their MOBs with them x

I doubt it, don't think its ever come up. Although my mil2b hasn't seen it, but that's purely because she doesn't live near me. I would have modelled it for her otherwise. Have shown a photo of it to my h2b's nan though.
I'm actually gutted that I can't show it to h2b. He's my best friend (my best girlfriend lives in another country) and he's always the first to see anything I'm excited about, so it's really hard to not pull it out and prance around the room with it. He refuses to see any of the stuff I've bought to wear for the wedding, although he's seen a photo of my reception dress that my mum and I are trying to recreate (the dress is out of season so we're making it ourselves).
