hi just wondering if anyone else is having a butterfly theme, my nan passed away a couple of years ago, and she loved butterflys and also loved lilac, so as i cant have her around on my special day decided to do butterflys in purples and lilacs and wondered if anyone else was having them xx

MEEEEEE to lol it all started from the kids dresses having them on it and now I am obsessed lol my cake has butterflies on it (pic on my profile) our favours are butterfly keyrings our name card holders are butterflies and my sis has a butterfly clip for her hair. Im also buying the kids little butterfly jewlerry to wear on the day. xx
im havin butterflies.....grandd loved them so we chose to have them incorporated into the wedding....i also goin to put my flowrs on his grave as its the same church :) I have some name place tags that sit on top of glasses on my profile pics if u wanna have a look.

thinking of having butterflies but prob teal and silver ones (these are my theme colours) and one of our friends is designing our invitiations and our favourite design has butterflies in it so we've decided to go with it!! we're having decicated candles to our "absent friends" which will be lit as part of the speaches. x x

meant to say that if i could find a way my centre peices would be real butterflys but cant find a way of doing it, so if anyone has any ideas id be glad.

ive got butterflies to it started with my flower girls flowers they are having butterfly crystals in them where has my bridesmaids and me are having the crystals but now ive started to put little bits of butterflys here and there :)

Although my theme is red white and roses im having about 6 silver butterflys in my bridesmaids flowers, to remember parted family members, as ive also heard they are a link to the spirit world Mara :-)

Newbie here....and yes I'm having a purple and lilac butterfly theme. My little girl (will be 21 mths) will be wearing the BHS purple butterfly dress (I had to buy 2 sizes though as no idea what size she'll be in then) and I'm currently researching placecards (likely to be glass butterfly ones), invitations and lots of other butterfly related things. I'll be keeping an eye on this for ideas so bring them on. x

I too am going with the lilac/purple butterfly theme, but going to try and keep it subtle!!!! (there are so many pretty butterfly bits around that may prove to be difficult lol)

Lol I am too with dark purple have bought 200 little White and silver ones to go on each placename n favour n have drawn my own butterfly template for my table names to go on instead of paying £10 on bay of e they will be on my invites too which my friend is sorting and I have bought 2 sparkly brooches to go on my wedding cake oh n there on my guest book ha ha!

We are having a butterfly theme as well, didn't realise they were a sign of spirit so that makes it an even nicer thing. Our invitations have deep purple butterflies on as do our place cards. Our giant cupcake which will be the top tier above lots of smaller cupcakes is having butterflies coming from it as though they are about to fly off. There are also butterflies on my post box and I am getting my BM's gorgeous butterfly compact mirrors from monsoon. x

i love butterflys, i have a butterfly tattoo on my wrist over kanji symbols for survivor, butterflys are symbolic to me, because of their metamorphis, im having them on my centrepiece, but not really included them on anything else.

MEEEEEE too, i love butterflys. as soon as i started planning the wedding i knew it had to be a butterfly theme even though i am going butterfly mad lol my MIL2B is making the invites an i have got her being butterfly mad now as when she goes to craft fairs all she is looking for is butterflys lol x

My butterfly tattoos will be on display ( shoulders) on the day so were putting butterflys in bouquets and things but they are symbolic to me as they symbolise new beginings etc and i used to/still struggle with depression and self harm so the left one os where i was in my life and the right one where i am and going now :) but thats a lovely idea to remember you nan with the butterflys :)
