I just need some honest opinions. is 7 pageboys too much I also have 3 bridesmaids 3 flower girls and 3 ushers 1 best man in mind. I just have three boys myself and nephews and my young brother I just don't want to leave anyone out?

Gosh... that does seem a lot... be careful... I was very strict in the end as we had 4 ushers and 4 bridesmaids plus a pageboy...
It's for a start, very expensive to kit them all out. Secondly, thats a lot of kids to manage on the day.
Thirdly you can't please everyone. I just had to say no. I've got older cousins to do readings and my godmother to be my witness... but am not inviting everyone to do everything... it can get silly and takes away the specialness. I was never a bridesmaid wHEN I was little, but my sisters and brothers all were flower girls and page boys. Except me!
I had a wicked time getting to run around like a loon in my normal dress and not have to do what I was told... my sister wasvery restricted!
Maybe cut back... it may look a bit too much at the alter too... but it is entirely up to you. The idea is lovely, the practicality of the reality is not ...
And we lived happily ever after!

I can be worked out nicely... Each Pageboy could walk with a Bridesmaid, the younger pageboys could walk with the flower girls, it just kind of leaves one pageboy without a pal. The Ushers tend to take care of themselves , helping guide people to their seats traditionally before joining the Best Man. It can work, it would just be a bit of an undertaking, esp if a few of your flower girls and page boys are quite young! But best of luck to you!
I do think its a little much....we have 4 bridesmaids,3 flowergirls,the best man and 3 groomsmen...I couldn't imagine adding anymore into the mix x

It is a lot but I don't think there is such a thing as too many, as long as you can afford outfits for them all. I have six bridesmaids and two page boys, plus a flower girl. I also didn't want anyone left out.

There's leaving people out and then there's just being silly! Suits are not cheap and for me there is a line where it goes from cute to rediculous....
You could end up with more bridal party than guests! Kids won't remember anyway...

In my opinion, yes, 7 is too much, you're taking the specialness out of the position by having so many. If you have 2 its a special role and lovely to be asked, having 7 just shouts "couldnt decide on who so went with all".
We're having 4 adult bridesmaids, our 2 sons as pageboys and best man. We have two nephews who we would 'like' to have involved, but it would be too much, in the day and financially!

It's a lot and also expensive. But that is just my personal opinion. If it were me I'd just have your 3 boys and that's enough. We had 2 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl, 2 ushers, the best man plus my dad and FIL in tails, cost us a fortune to dress everyone xx

I don't think it's too much. It's your wedding, have as many page boys or flower girls or bridesmaids as you like! Some people have loads of bridesmaids so why not have 7 page boys? Plus, it'll be nice for the kids. I know people say kids wont remember but I had my two young nieces as bridesmaids and they were so excited!

I think children can easily be hurt as well. I remember a lady who used to babysit for us getting married, and I so desperately hoped that I would be a bridesmaid, but I wasn't asked, and I was really disappointed. If your nephews aren't expecting to be asked then it's fine, but personally I wouldn't want to upset them. I think it could look lovely, with three page boys paired up with flower girls walking hand in hand or arm in arm, and then the remaining four in two pairs ahead of the bridesmaids.

that is a lot of pageboys yes. if you have 3 boys yourself then i would just have them - suits turn out to be pretty expensive. if you can afford it then its completely up to you. my cousin had 12 bridesmaids for her wedding! x

I personally would say its alot of pageboys, but there was an article in the paper yesterday about a lady who had 80 bridesmaids! She was a dance teacher and had all her pupils, so compared to that 7 doesnt seem that many lol :) However its your day, you can have as many as you like:)
