same here just makng my own invites with inserts that say where when and time! including a menu that they can choose either beef or veg option but the reception will do other meals as well when asked just didnt want to give to much choice as it makes it harder! then evening invites i will leave the rsvp to the quests (altho i will be requesting they do rsvp to the invite)

I'm not sure if you have to have an order of service for a civil wedding, does anyone know?
Otherwise, all we've done is invitations and are putting 1 menu on each table which doubles up with the table name.I wouldnt bother with directions as majority of people nowdays have sat navs or at least a computer to check route planner and thank you cards I'm not going to worry about til after the honeymoon

The only things you need really are day and evening (if having extra guests) invites.

If guests have to choose menu options, you need to include these somehow.
OOS- only really need if you are having hymns in church
Thank you cards- I'm writing letters on nice notepaper.
Directions/other info- if there is other stuff you need guests to know, you can include it. Doesn't need to match though- can just be on paper.

I'm also haveing a civil ceremony so just wanted to double check.
So I have ordered the STD's (even though I dont like the abbreviation much, lol!)
I'll do invites for day and evening...
then do the menu on the back of the table number (Great idea G.I!)
Thank yous can be whatever... a pic of me laying on a beach courtesy of them... OMG that is sooo wrong Karlie :0)

We're ordering day and evening invites, making our own menus which have to go out to each guest for them to decide on their meal choice, ordering place cards and doing our own table number. Seating plan included in venue package x x x

We're having invites and reception invites (evening ones arrived today whhooohooo). We're making day invites, name cards, order of service and seating plan. We're not having menus simply because they dont have a choice lol

GI for a civil ceremony you have an order of the day for the guests so they know when and where they need to be etc.

Were having invites, RSVPs, Table plan, menu card, direction and probably thank you cards.

most people know the date and place cos i cant keep quiet on these things so not gonna bother with save the dates. Menu and tableplan the venue is doing as part of their package. rsvps i'm goona let the guests do (will be something nice ot keep as memories of the day cos you can get some really nice cards for that in the shops cos i've sent them in the past!). order of service i'm not sure i will do to be honest. could maybe have a board or something with written on with table plan or a chalk board or something with that (registry office job then on to a hotel you see so no need for hymms etc.)

So that just leaves invite which i'm making myself! and then thank you cards to think about what to do! do like the idea of a nice wedding photo postcard with a handwrtten message on for that. done!
