That's totally up to you if it matters :-)

I am sure most of the guests don't care!

No it doesn't really matter, my invites don't match my colours exactly because I went and picked aubergine as one of them and it's hard to get a match. I thought it would be an easy colour! So I have purple and lilac hearts on my invites ;-)

There are so many people out there who will tell you
    what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

No, i dont think it matters, i have black invites too, and my theme is pale blue ivory and silver, so dont worry about it. i'm sure on the day all the focus will be on how beautiful it is and everyone will have forgotten about the invite colour. Some people do like to know the colour scheme to match in somewhat, but i'm sure they will ask anyway, i know i always do. xx

Most std's and invites end up in drawers, buried under crap on the fridge or in the bin... im sure they wont even notice! It doesnt really matter anyways so dont worry about it :-)

I thought it would matter and as I made my invites and favour boxes in the summer with pale blue ribbon I was adament I would have the rest of colours this same blue but it's proven too difficult to match and we have recently bought the BM dress and ordered suits all with different shades of blue, so now our theme is 'Shades of blue' instead! Will still work!

So no, I wouldn't say it mattered! Ha
