    Hello ladies/gents,

I was originally having someone make my invites for me, but I'm considering making them myself but don't know where to start lol. My theme is vintage and my bridesmaids dress is a dusty pink (well will be).

    Any advice?

Why don't you try craft shops hun? You might find some bits and pieces in your colour and get some inspiration. And am sure if you google vintage wedding invitations, that'll bring up some possibilities xxx

Have a look and see what you can get on the bay and ama@zon to match your colours and look at any ideas you like. Also, do a draft using a plain bit of paper just to get an idea on where you want any folds and the measurements you want.

Don't try and get too complicated either. Stay simple as in my opinion, that makes an invite look a little more classier. A few of us on here are/have made our invites. I have pics in my album if you want to take a look?

Hi I searched high and low for cards/envelopes the right colour in the end I went to h/craft got 50 cards, envelopes for 7.99. I then bought an evening invite card for the front they are only small and was reduced 0.50 for ten! 120 crystal hearts 1.99 x2 and ribbon for the side I tied with a bow 0.79 per meter x 25= 19.75 had just about enough left so in total 50 evening invites cost me 33.72! Compare to a company who wanted similar ones to mine at 2.10 each, I also made the day invites they cost me 26.00 my moh mother in laws making my order of services x
