I know my both my parents have busy jobs and don't have much time to do things and maybe i am being a bit bridezilla about this but,i picked up my wedding invites 10 days ago and took them round to my parents last sat complete with a guest list quite expecting to send the invites out myself once their side of the guest list had been approved. however my mum is insisting that she sends them out as my parents are hosting the wedding. plus she decided that as we're getting married on a friday that she would host an "after-party" on the saturday to which family and close friends would be invited. she has not yet finished the after-party invite as this is going with the main invites (did say i could get this included in the invites but she didn't want it done) thus the invites haven't gone out yet. I need to let the venue know our final numbers by end of june (to get a refund if we have less guests than we're paying for), therefore i kinda need the invites sent out asap. Am i being a total bridezilla about this or if i'm not can anyone think of any ways i can subtly speed up sending the invites out!! x x

i think u need to put ure foot down with them hunni its ure day in the end not theres u should have everything done how u want it to be xxxxxx hope u sort it out xxxxx

speak to her and say the venue has contacted you and needs your final numbers asap
