We got ours from vista print. Really good value and loads of designs to choose from. They're not as crafty as the handmade ones but I loved ours.

You could always get some from vistaprint and stick diamantes or little flowers on them... A compromise between homemade and store brought? Xx

I made mine, but can see advantages to both sides. vista do some lovely ones, i do think £3 is a lot for a card, unless it is extremely fancy. I know a company that design and sell them at about a £1 each, though larger numbers get a discount.

I was going to make my own, but my cousin is now doing them for me - so lovely of her. Works out so much cheaper

We were going to get ours made but we were quoted £800 plus for what we wanted for stationary so now we are doing them oursevles. Find someone who does it local or makes handmade cards they will prob do it cheaper.

i made my own half way through i wish i hadnt bothered but was worth it in the end although the amount i spent on all the materials to make them it would have been cheaper and easier buying them. but my invites were unique and everyone commented n how nice they were :) x

Im making my own, I have everything except the heart shaped hole punch. But I based my design on a sample that I got from a website. Worked out the costing and it was cheaper to do it myself x

I made our own - nothing fancy, just a gold heart photo I found online and some swirly writing.
Bought cards from crafthobby at £5 for 50 invites and printed them ourselves

I'm making my own, but I didn't want 'traditional' ones, with lace or any other embellishments. I spent £10 on a discounted piece of design software and I've designed everything on that - from invites, to candy buffet signs to the seals to to go on the back of the invite envelope. I can export them to PDF then either print the basic stuff myself, or for the larger or more specialised printing I can email the PDF across to the printers, who charge very little for the actual printing.
