Hey, I feel like I am forgetting something, I'm making our invites at the moment and just want to check I don't miss out on something obvious. The day invites include time, date and venue, a date by which they have to RSVP, and a note about dietary requirements. Evening invite has date, time and venue and date by which to RSVP. With the invites I'm including a map and John Lewis gift list info. We're not giving them RSVP cards, but asking them to email or use the wedding website.

Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something?! Please put my mind at ease :P

Hmm yeah I could add the time the reception starts or something, good idea!
The kids thing isn't a problem as the only people who even have kids are uncles, and their kids are invited, so that's not an issue..
And don't need an RSVP address as don't want them to waste the paper!

Cool thanks girls, keep em coming :D

Most of that's on the wedding website, the address of which is on the invites...I'm choosing their menu for them so none of that! Gift list I'm including.

Dress code...really, you think I should include that? I would think it's pretty self-explanatory, is that customary to include a dress code? x

think its your choice really hun, i have writen a little something in ours stating that there is a dress code and we wish that women be in dress suits or skirts, but that is mainly coz there a couple of women coming that would turn up in jeans and a t shirt just to pee me off xx

That would be awful...I dunno, I think I trust my friends and family to dress appropriately. I would *hope* the venue itself gives them a clue :P hmm, might think about that one. thank youuu xx

I totally agree with Fairytale - I will be having a dress code of no jeans as I cant stand people who turn up to wedding parties in jeans (maybe just me but I think you should dress up for special occasions!)

agree totally, I would hate it if anyone turned up in jeans. I just hope I don't have any friends who aren't sensible enough to figure that out themselves :S they should know me well enough to realise I'd kill them!

lol yeah the only one im abit worried about is my uncles wife, no-one in my family likes her, she hates it when the attension isnt on her and she looks like a man, plus she hates being out done, and her wedding was a quick simple thing coz she was preggers, and i have seen the green eyed monters everytime she has heard anything about my wedding so am expecting her to try and upstage me or just doing something that she knows will pee me off, good luck is all i can say once i start wlaking down the aisle i will not give a monkeys about anybody apart from H2B lol xx
