We have quite a tight guest list for our ceremony and day reception. We are inviting family but only our siblings are allowed guests.
For example my h2b cousins have long term partners but they will only be invited to the evening reception. We only want to send one invitation to each couple to keep costs down. I am struggling to work out how do to write it without it being too wordy?
We are having cheque book style invites. The h2b wants to add it to the bottom of the front page:
"Liz and Mark Harrison are delighted to request the pleasure of the company of
*Cousins name* to the marriage of their daughter Sally to David France The ceremony will commence at 1.30pm on Saturday 10th May 2014 at ********************** Wedding breakfast and evening reception to follow at the same venue.
Plus ones are invited to the Evening reception from 7:30pm"
I'm not sure about how this works and was thinking about having another page of the invite which is the evening invite for the plus ones. With similar wording to the other but with the guests name and stating that it is evening only.
I am struggling to work out how to do it, any help would be awesome!

If you know someone's name, it's a bit rude to refer to them as a plus one on the invite.....in practise, although they are referred to as 'plus ones' you'd only put it if they were single (and then, strictly it should be plus guest!) - wedding etiquette eh!
And I think personally on the second page would be best - it looks less like an afterthought xx

I agree with Laura Jo, if you know the name of the "plus one/guest" they should be referred to by name. I would suggest also having a second page that is to invite evening reception guests and pop the name of the person invited to the evening. Also refer to them as "plus guest" rather than "plus one" if your guest is single xxx
