    Hi
This may seem petty (and too far in advance lol) our theme is purple and silver bm dresses are purple and silver and i am gonna get purple sparkly pumps to wear! So do I do invites on purple card and dark ink or silver card and purple ink? Going to use purple ribbon and purple butterflies .
    Opinions please :)
    Thanks xx

My colour is Cadbury purple and I'm just doing the invite on ivory card (my dress colour) with blank ink and then tied with a Cadbury purple ribbon.

My dress has silver detail so that's why I was going with silver and purple just trial and error I guess!!

Perosnally, I would just got with the purple ribbon and Butterflies and do everything else in a neutral colours.

    I think subtle is better!

Could you not add a couple of little crystals to each one to add a touch of silver-like detail? (I love a bit of bling lol) xx

Ooo I agree with bling too! Maybe Butterflies, ribbons and bling would be too much though? That is just my opinion though! x

Do a few mock-ups of a few options, that's what I did (blue colour scheme) and we chose from them. Seeing one made up really makes a difference. I found after making a few, the one we wanted still needed a few extras to make it what we want. Since it seems the purple is your main colour with a silver accent (?) I would go with what others have suggested with a neutral ivory/cream and purple ribbon, butterflies and maybe some little silver diamantes. Depends how big your butterflies are as to whether it would all be a bit too much bling....
