I am just ranting to get this out my system..... I HATE wedding invites!!

So was originally told we can have multiple choice for our menu so made individual inserts, finished ALL day invitations to then go to our taster evening last Thursday to be told we NEED to pick a set menu - 5 invitations had already gone out - managed to pull back the rest. Now have to make completely new insert and resend them with only 106 days till the wedding..... I'm feeling a tad stressed at the moment and needed to vent my frustrations ....!!

    Grrrrrrrr...!!! xx

It sounds to me like you should be annoyed at your caterers not the invites. Why did they change that you couldn't have the multiple choice menu? Do you have it in your contract that you could have a multiple choice menu? If so, they can't just change that without telling you x

I Agree with kirsty. Its annoying you have had to change and remake your invites but why did they change the terms?

Why have they changed the menu? If your contract states multiple choices then I would kick up and say that ur paying for multiple choice! X

I'd lie and say the invites had already been sent and too much faff to change.

As the girls have said they shouldn't change anything in your contract - if they are doing whole overall of their packages they should really honour what you signed up for, new couples get the new package.

Apparently its all to do with making it 'simple' and less hassle - I understand why and after our menu tasting evening every other couple had been told that's its a set menu they need to pick yet we weren't told that - there's 2 wedding co-ordinators so I don't know if its anything to do with that!?

Sadly there's nothing in the contract 'specifically' advising about the options for the menu - it just states which menu we can select the meal from, its clearly all about the wording! lol xx

Could you try and do what Steph says and claim you have sent the invites out already although they might say just tell them it's set now. We went to a wedding that had a set menu and it was lovely :) x
